RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Field mechanic in Vietnam
The best part of getting a ticket in a military vehicle is that the ranking person in the vehicle gets the ticket. Not the driver. At least that is how it worked back in the 90's. It sucks to be the TC.
I took my sample last night. I noticed the price on the side of the bottle. $16.99. The bottle comes with a zip lock bag and the paperwork. You put all of it in the prepaid mailer bottle then send it in. I got it from the local TA travel center.
RE: gen
The are about a foot longer on the rear than a normal M105 because the body overhangs. The chassis is the same as the M105 but the body is longer. The data plate on mine shows M103a3 for the trailer with the trailer serial number. There is also second data plate attached for the "set"...
Hit the underside of the dash right under the steering column. The relay is there. It is a relay only used on the cucv. It changes the 12 volt signal from the ignition switch to 28 volt for the starter. Not the "starter solenoid" that most people think of. Replace the relay under the dash.
I read an article about these a year or so ago. They borrowed an Me262 from one of our military museums. They then took it apart and reverse engineered the original. For the use of the plane it was also restored as they examined it and put it back together. The museum gets a free restoration and...
This post only applies to periodic oil and filter changes. Not changes brought about by other maint such as a head gasket change or such.
The LO states to only change oil and filter when the oil analysis indicates to change them. They do say to sample oil every 60 or 120 depending on use...

I got a ticket during Desert Storm. I was in my deuce at the tail end of a convoy at night. I was at the fast portion of the accordion effect. It was laughable. What were they going to do? Send me to the desert?
RE: form 97
They did away with the 1 year requirement. I guess it is unlimited now. They have said that this contributed to the backlog. When they dropped the 1 year requirement they had a lot of applications for older purchases.
As to your SF 97 I would say they were pretty quick if they...
If it is a 70 model it is a Kaiser-Jeep. Your truck was probably a depot rebuild which would probably mean the only original part from the 1970 Kaiser-Jeep truck it was is the Frame. When they depot rebuild the truck becomes a mix master from the 1st parts on the shelf when the truck is...
RE: Re: RE: mobile home axles for non-mobile home trailers
Guys,
I post the exact quote from the law because it is just way to easy to just say "it is illegal". Rizzo is from Michigan and in Michigan he would not have a problem as it is not against Michigan law to use mobile home tires for...
The military uses Dot5 silicon which does not absorb moisture like other fluids. Many say that mixing will cause problems but David Doyle has posted information from a report that report mixing does not cause problems but mixing will totally negate the advantages of having Dot 5. If your...
If it is marked Mobile home Only in Michigan it is not against state law and you will not get a ticket here. They only way that would change is if a fed was writing you a ticket for a federal infraction.
I don't think that mobile home tires are going to be marked in such a way that they are not able to be used on the highway. The DOT determines safe tire construction and composition and if tires are made that do not comply with them they have to be marked as such like in the examples above...
