I agree. I was at Saturn in Dec. 06 and they didn't have the ones I wanted. They may have some but not all. I agree with JD that 100 for a set sounds good. I'm half tempted to buy a backup set for my backup set.
Thanks for the pics. I'm gonna save then to my drive for future reference. Regarding the crimper Jones so well displays above, this is what I thought I have read about in the past.
I'm thinkin' Franks Surplus is selling this crimper with the circuit tags Clinto is talkin' about.
Either...
I have seen another type that crimps all the way around. Is this the right tool for the watertight connectors it comes with?

The info is very valuable, but if the buyer is happy with his/her truck and has done their due diligence, then as long as they are happy with their purchase then I say let them enjoy the rush!
I think mine might have been one of those. I did find a 4 digit number on the back of the truck. She is rough around the edges consmetically, but runs like heck. I agree with looking them over well as I did just that.
Like Will, I disconnect the dogbone link between the two batteries and charge each one on an old sears charger I bought at a yard sale for 5.00 bucks. Works just fine for me.
RE: Re: RE: Comset Ideas for Deuce Cab?
I just picked up a pair of peltor headsets. They are 5 channel units with PTT or VOX and run on AA batteries. I won them on E-bay for 65.00 for the pair. I'll let you know how they work aft. I receive shipment.
RE: Re: RE: CARC paint
I bought the new 2 part water based CARC from sherwin williams industrial in San Diego. They supply the the bases down there. I haven't shot it yet so I have no feedback regarding application, etc.
