Mine run about that hot. I replaced bearings and races with new Timkens. Also replaced seals, re-adj brakes etc. I've been running around the neighborhood with no issues yet.

With the fender mount it looks like you can't use the engine access panel?

I'm thinking you should put up some type of sensoring equip. around the trucks so when the curtain is broken you get a silent warning going off in the house...gives you enough time to catch them in the act...what happens next is up to you but I can get pretty creative when it comes to someone...

Being a machinist I also agree that it's too hard to describe with a keyboard. I also agree with the drilldoctor recommendation.

Applied the stencils Well, I applied the paint masks to complete the cab. I'm gonna get going on the bed next. They came from Rick Larsen. Here was my experience... The paint masks didn't stick to CARC all that well. Had to keep rubbing them down with a soft rag just before painting...

Lookiin' good. I've been re-painting mine for the past 8 months...finally getting close to finishing.
