The parking brake on a deuce is just that. A parking brake. The are not emergency brakes and do not do a good job of stopping the vehicle.

The air is just a boost to the hydraulic brakes. You would still have brakes but you would need to stand hard on the pedal to make them work if you were going fast. I also would not worry about running the brakes on an empty M105.

We just did a thread on tire sized and how to convert them to how tall the tire is. The problem with just look at how tall a tire lies in the fact that you do not know how wide the tire is. Older rims had the center riveted in while newer ones are welded in.

I figured it was only a matter of time before someone got stopped for this. A way to get around this might be a magnetic mat to cover the markings while on the way to shows and parades and such. When at the show you can take the mat off for display.

I got two 7/8 inch cylinders for my GI quick start kit and promptly found out that I need a 1" cylinder. This is a GI installed kit.

Turns out mine takes a 1 inch cannister not a 7/8 inch. I hope napa exchanges them. I thought I read in another thread that they took 7/8 inch. Either I was wrong or the post was. When I find out a part number I will let post it.
