Well, for whatever it is worth - UPS isn't any better. Honest to goodness, they would lose themselves if they couldn't walk around on their own two feet.
.
It would be worth watching somebody do it. I searched "cincinatti truck tire" and there seems to be a lot of Firestone truck tire dealers in the state. Might be that you have something close by you. A few minutes watching and voicing an interest - somebody might be willing to give you a few...

Another thing to do is take that Allen that is already bent and pretty useless - and cut it so you have a piece maybe one inch long. Keep it cool while you cut it. Either quench it in oil or keep a steady stream of water on it...
Then take the one inch piece and hammer it into the drain...

That would be a fun adventure. NOW would be the right time of the year to do that too. Not miserable hot and the daily "monsoons" with summer heating haven't started yet. I have been through there a lot on my way down to the big city of Branford many times - but I guess I wasn't looking for...

Neat!!!! Sometimes just the right tool moves a project ahead in a big way! Glad you were in the right place at the right time - and remembered seeing that puller.

Yessir! I would really like to have one of those trucks.
On the other hand, I will stand up and say loudly that I don't do body work. I have tried it in days gone by and have never been happy with the quality of my work.
If I can ever find one, that part of the rebuild will already be...

I agree with @papakb . The wiring from the factory is all one color - and neither of those colors are red or blue. Follow the wire to its source and chances are you can pull it out. MAKE SURE that it doesn't have power on it befor you start pulling and tugging on it.
As far as the lights...

Yep. There are guys here with skills and there might even be a better body you could find with a little searching. @cucvrus might be a good source or a good contact for some of what you need.

This kit is really amazing. Good quality stuff too - and the drill guides keep you centered on the thing you are drilling - rather than chewing up your good threads!

Wow!! That is pretty amazing! Yeah, the one at the monument place has a 1" hose feeding it and that volume of air is pretty amazing compared to my toy blaster

Like @GeneralDisorder said, pull it and fix it. LocTite is your friend. OR check it after you fix it - then after every third or so crankings - check it again.
Keeping your starter working and not having to buy a new one is a lot like a wife. If you call a starter a girl or give it a...

It really is amazing to watch somebody with skills and a hammer do the job. It isn't how hard you hit that tire - its more about where - and letting the soap do its job to slide that duckbill up into the crack that it creates.

Hi David,
Yes and No? Maybe?
I think what you need is to buy yourself a fuel filter and a fuel filter housing. The housing is the gizmo that you screw the filter on to. What I am trying to get you to do is create a loop. That loop is an intake line (with a weight on the hose) in the...

What you have to do is "break the bead" off both sides of the rim. Tire shops (for cars) do that easily with a tire machine. One breaker on the bottom and another on the top with everything held in place through the center hole on the rim. Those machines are too small for big truck tires...

The crummy part is that you have to get rid of whatever crud is in the tank. The idea of "fuel polishing" could cost you a hundred and a half for a pump and filter housing. Truck sits still, doesn't use any fuel, and in several hours, the fuel in your tank will be clean. Maybe not. You...
