Thinking about our neighbor at the print shop...
They have a dispatch center here in the mechanical building. Every other week, promptly at 0800, their propane powered generator kicks off and runs at speed for a half hour. Unattended. Nobody walks out there and looks at it or opens the...

Just sitting here looking...
Darn good thing that the door swings IN on your habitat.
Otherwise, I guess the awning would have been darn near impossible.
Can't wait to see it setup and then you gotta find yourself some gaudy LED lights to hang from the front edge...

White Owl is "good people".
Not quite as old as dirt, but they have been in the business for a long time. Lots of knowledge and willing to share. Especially on older green hardware...

Well, it sounds to me like you have some pretty good plans. I understand the outdoor shop. That is what I have here. I do have crushed, ground asphalt to work on, but a floor jack punches right through it. No mud and that is good, but if it is cold I just get cold and when it rains me and...

That view and the truck and car are pretty amazing. I'd bet that is one COLD place to be standing out there in the wide open spaces with the wind whipping across that patch of water!
That ambulance is going to be a TON of work, but maybe you can find parts slowly as you clean up the frame...

I am guessing it must be more than just the normal "pushing you around" when the front wheels are engaged? Asking because it definitely handles completely different when there are good tires and dry pavement...

Somewhere around the house in a stack of picture books, I have a picture of me at about 5 in a midnight blue peddle car like that. My dad had a 1950's "Delivery" that he had painted up that same blue color. Dad had painted both vehicles at the same time. My peddle car had been a fire truck...

I ordered the factory parts for those pins from Oshkosh of all places. About a year ago. My outriggers were stuck in their "sleeves" (rust and salt is my guess) and I snatched and jerked on them. Broke one before I knew that was possible. If you can just imagine... Snatch, Jerk, Yank...
