    Door stop problems

. I could have sworn that piece just slipped into the slot in the Deuce Door. Then the Door Check Rod connected with the cotter pin.

Mep-802a. Any reason not to drive ground rod?

. Thinking about our neighbor at the print shop... They have a dispatch center here in the mechanical building. Every other week, promptly at 0800, their propane powered generator kicks off and runs at speed for a half hour. Unattended. Nobody walks out there and looks at it or opens the...

    CHUCKY'S TREE HOUSE !

. Just sitting here looking... Darn good thing that the door swings IN on your habitat. Otherwise, I guess the awning would have been darn near impossible. Can't wait to see it setup and then you gotta find yourself some gaudy LED lights to hang from the front edge...

    M1008 Build

. White Owl is "good people". Not quite as old as dirt, but they have been in the business for a long time. Lots of knowledge and willing to share. Especially on older green hardware...

    One of my dream trucks!

. Well, it sounds to me like you have some pretty good plans. I understand the outdoor shop. That is what I have here. I do have crushed, ground asphalt to work on, but a floor jack punches right through it. No mud and that is good, but if it is cold I just get cold and when it rains me and...

. Oh yeah! Looks sharp Owen!!

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

. Be sure to put up an ad. I finally have a patch of concrete that I can use my floor jack on. I have a 5-Ton and then I need to get something that will work with these LMTV's (M107x & M108x) that I have too and it might be useful to have one for the 7-Ton (MK23) too. Seems that I am not...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

. Hi Owen! That is looking really sharp! Nice round lines like a real truck should have... Sure would be neat to see if from the front - next time the sun comes out. :) Projects help keep us all busy. Sure hope we have a real Spring this year with some warm weather rather than jumping...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

. Looks like your sidekick Bailey was enjoying the job. In the shade. Observing. Super(visor) Dog.

    Is an M548 Really Amphibious?

. Went back and watched the "Swim Test" video again. Snagged a few pictures just because I could.

    Tachograph questions

. Assuming that the "pens" are replaceable, you should should be able to pop off the pens and never think about it again until you sell the truck of you ever do.

    One of my dream trucks!

. That view and the truck and car are pretty amazing. I'd bet that is one COLD place to be standing out there in the wide open spaces with the wind whipping across that patch of water! That ambulance is going to be a TON of work, but maybe you can find parts slowly as you clean up the frame...

    Funky steering

. I am guessing it must be more than just the normal "pushing you around" when the front wheels are engaged? Asking because it definitely handles completely different when there are good tires and dry pavement...

    USAF Strata Blue

. Somewhere around the house in a stack of picture books, I have a picture of me at about 5 in a midnight blue peddle car like that. My dad had a 1950's "Delivery" that he had painted up that same blue color. Dad had painted both vehicles at the same time. My peddle car had been a fire truck...

    Thoughts on Boyce built trucks.

. Nice writeup! Given the opportunity - it sure would be neat to see another Boyce Report when you get your truck in June. Oh, and pictures too!

    One of my dream trucks!

. Dang right! Be sure that you post pictures of your grandfathers truck. We love pictures!! Especially with a story to go along with it...

    M936A2 outrigger roll pin

. I ordered the factory parts for those pins from Oshkosh of all places. About a year ago. My outriggers were stuck in their "sleeves" (rust and salt is my guess) and I snatched and jerked on them. Broke one before I knew that was possible. If you can just imagine... Snatch, Jerk, Yank...
