Optima put profit ahead of USA and shifted production abroad.
I have no use for a company that does not support USA. I stopped buying their products years ago.
Odyssey batteries are at least partially made here. They last for years and have crazy good CCA.

As mentioned, you need to go over our truck top to bottom.
After 3 years I’m still doing that.
I’m about to exchange my harmonic balancer bolt on my 6.2 for the longer unit and torque it down tight to prevent known issues.
Besst of luck!
I just spoke to the original poster.
He has been trying to fit the tire however has not been supporting the inner rim on top of a 5 gallon bucket or any type of support structure so he has been fighting the tire and he has been fighting the beadlock. When the tire sits on the ground, the tire...
Assuming you’re not too far away, I am happy to go visit you and try to help this weekend. I’m in Brooklyn. I will of course need you to PM an address and tele number.
Let’s remember that since 2017 tons of people here helped and still help me and each other. Just pass it forward my friend.
I like the seats and I might consider purchasing 2 for the front.
I am getting 1/4 slider plates to re-enforce the sides. Then I will add 1/4 inch triangular tube steel exterior tubes to those sliders, and I will place a 1/4 thick walled 1x2 tubes steel inside just lateral to the seats that...
I don't know if you did anything wrong per se.
Place ring in freezer, hold in place to lower half with some rubber cement or silicon adhesive and tighten bolts slowly, opposite bolts 2 at a time.
Best,

Just received new radiator, oil/tranny cooler, water pump, power steering cooler from Mac Motors. Gonna go in as soon as I can, then I guess I have to make sure the shroud gets re-aligned prior to starting her up.
Then I will re-core the original radiator and keep as an emergency spare. Same...
I don't know the brand reputation but seems cosmetic.
I believe these form a "perfect seal". When you drive you make heat and maybe a bit of air escaped and now with the unit at ambient pressure there is a small amount of suction???
I would just drive the heck out of it.
You mean the kick down cable mounting assembly?
I have one for sale.
I bought one but then decided to go with the universal unit sold with my "bowtie overdrives" unit.
I agree that a 4 speed is better BUT, the TH400 is bulletproof, there is a guy in NC who will be making a special transfer case that will add a forth gear, and farmers and such who use these rigs for offroad are fine with 3 speeds.
JuanPrado states he has a TH400 that does 70. Not sure how but...
After receiving your sage and well timed comments I checked my bank account and decided to downgrade to the regular radiator unit. With the saved moneys I purchased a water pump because I’ll be in there anyways.
As always, thanks Steve!

I’m with Cam.
Pull the injectors and glow plugs and spray out with compressed air. Then look in with a boroscope and if any pieces remain you can try to get them out.
