I would rebuild one or the other. My ambulance was doing the same, dropping out of 2wd on deceleration. It had been run dry and frankly, the case was destroyed. Spares are always good.
Assuming that the CDN M1010 is similar to the US versions, the inverter is to replace the DUVAC. Your inverter should be used to charge the front battery. The front battery should be supplying the current to run the glow plugs.
I'm retired and no way I can afford a duramax swap. I think the turbo 6.5 will lack power comared to the 454.
Driving age in FL on public roads is 15 but he's been driving offroad since he can reach the pedals.
Answer to your question is i don't know. Who mentioned uograge? I did the swap for a few reasons. First was I had accumulated all the stuff for anothe project that didn't happen. Second was for my 14 year old to learn how to drive a stick, he did and 3rd, it does cut a few hundred RPM off the...
Drove mine 726 miles today. Only had one blowout and.fortunately, it was a rear and the truck has duals. Limped off to the next exit and did a jiffy change. These 6.2 trucks suck in the mountains. I thought the SM465 swap would be a welcome change but it was far from that. Once I got here (GA...
Man, maybe I should attend this rally. Sounds like the perfect climate for the bolts truck.
Hey Steve, did you have to deploy your dual function helmet?
What was the secret to getting the floor spiffy. In years past my brother had a muffler shop. We would fill a coffee can with oil dry then head over to the drum of brake clean and pump some brake clean into the floor dry. It would suck up the spillage in no time flat.
Perhaps you are thinking of another size or brand. BFG never made a 255/85R16 in all terrain. These are load range E and have quite good reviews. My first set came from Amazon. 4 wheel parts has the best price these days.
BFG has a KM2 255/85R16 that is a pretty nice tire. A couple of inches taller than what you have and fits stock wheels if you like them. Not a great pic but here is what they look like on my torch cart with no lift.
Short wheelbase version. I don't have to worry about street view at either of my houses. One house is on a dead end dirt road and the other half way up a 1 lane mountain road.
How is that June camping weather? Wife is away on her very last annual tour. It's 900° out and I have the A/C set on 65. Kids are in their bedrooms in sleeping bags and if the meter spins much faster, that end of the house will lift off. I'm thoroughly enjoying my summer camping at home.
A passport? Is that for real? I didn't have a passport until I was in my 40s. I thought getting on Canaveral Air Station (Kennedy Space Center) was a hassle.
