I think you were asking him for pictures of the 3rd seat in the 1009. However, since I brought it up. Here are pictures of my 3rd seat install in my M715. Yes, this is a different seat than he was looking at, but the idea is the same.
His Spring Branch is the San Antonio version.
Since this thread is alive again. I still haven't opened that silly box up to mess with it since this thread was active. Maybe one of these days.
I know you need it NOW. However, they show up on ebay all the time.
You can swap in all the military guts to a civi plastic housing. Just clean everything and test each circuit multiple times before you plug it in.
Oh, stay 24 volts. You will get much more help and information about how...
Totally different mounts, but if you have the floor part from a 2000 and up to donate, you can make them fit the back of the 1009. Just be aware the fuel tank is under there in the very back.
Or just weld in hoops above the floor for the mounts. It will be a bit high, but work just fine.
Might as well buy new wheel cylinders and the rear axle brake hose. The brake parts might cost you $20 total, they will be new and you will only have to bleed the brakes a single time.
I had the same problem on a 14 bolt Suburban and it was the wheel cylinder seeping. Either way, same...
I spent my entire lunch hour writting a post for this thread. The storm rolled through and the power went out. Lost it. Let me just put it simply.
I have attended 14 National and State level military truck gatherings since 2004. Be them FE's or Rally's. Some where pre pay, some where take...
I get it now greenjeepster. You just like to argue. I can pick on British vehicles because I have a few. No Land rovers though, so no picking.
Here is my next topic of arguement:
BLUE!
Jeff,
This is not meant to be a flame post. If you take it that way, then I am sorry. Here are the facts.
Lincoln on his own about 2 years ago started posting about having a gathering. Nobody volunteered a place to hold the event. Nobody offered to run the thing. Nobody offered to throw...
What happened to picking on British stuff? That was fun. This other bickering is just a side show.
Just to get that going again, here is a tool that any British car owner should have. The magic smoke replacement machine:

Swapping out glow plugs is as easy as doing spark plugs on a gasoline V8 from the same time period. I did a set this morning in maybe 20 minutes. 3/8" deep socket and a ratchet wrench.
Now, if you have older non self regulating plugs. What is in there could have swollen up bigger than the...
Forget Alldata. The military had something much, much better. The Technical Manual. Go here to find, download, print them all:
JATONKA's CUCV TM download page
The last two digits are the numbers everybody uses when discussing the TM's. The -10 is like a civilian owners manual. The -20...
I sure am glad you live 100 miles or so away. A Sprint car would be fun to be around again. I was involved with that back in my much younger, stupider and single days. I had the nerve at one time to go into a left hand turn, hit the throttle and turn right. What a rush. Keep the car away...
Make sure your transfer case and both axles still have oil/lube in them. If they do, clean of the leaks and drive happy. If one is empty, you found your leak.
Thanks for the thoughts guys. I haven't been able to get online as much as normal.
As of now, I plan to attend. Just don't know what vehicle/vehicles will be making the trip yet. Probaby just me from my family though.
There is an rpm circuit in the CUCV system. The signal comes from the alternators.
I am not sure if there is some kind of party trick we can do or not with 3 of them. Not sure I really want to find out either.
