I think somewhere you stated that the 1500 /1800 RPM engine speed was something you were told? If not, that is a requirement. Running at idle speed for example will end up "smoking" your Allison transmission. Might be that it is written down in the TM, but I have seen that number in writing...

So I hate not to be able to contribute more, but I will definitely be interested to see what happens.
@Csm Davis may have more information about the rotation motor.
Past experience and lots of wreckers at his place

Heat - there in Montana in particular - must be really nice this time of the year! Suprising that the cables aren't seized up too. It might be worth a little time with some WD40 or similar on those cables so you don't have to work those cast pot metal levers too hard...

Most of us know nothing about it and how the rotation motor works on the M936. Might even be all of us for all I really know. The TM's show nothing but the shape of the motor and all the tech info is that you refer the problem to the next level of maintenance. Apparently those folks and...

Really? I thought it was pretty darn neat. The interior could indeed be erbrechen compared to @chucky 's truck for example. I like the dark glossy wood...

Nice!
A wife that listens to what you say when you are telling her about your truck repairs... Hard to ask for more than that - and then she buys you truck parts too!! Better hang onto her for sure :)
.
And when I saw this question, I had no decent answer of offer up... Noticed though that you appeared new to the group. Also seems that maybe you have more trucks to play with than the rest of us.
So, better late than never... Officially we Welcome you to the Outfit!
Glad the guys...

That's neat! I have been here in the big city since I was born. Excepting some time spent working for "Uncle Sam", this is where I've been. Grandpa and Grandma lived out on Hickory Grove Road if that tells you any history about our Mullaney Clan.
.
I completely understand that!
Worst part for me is trying to give driving directions. Third street with the big oak tree on the corner, down one street, turn at the ugly pink house, up the hill and turn left.
Then they ask "What is the street name and number so I can plug it into my...

Welcome to the Outfit!
Sounds like you may have already found a New-To-You truck too! The painting part is nowhere near as bad as it looks when you start sizing up that job. After all, it isn't a show truck and with a lot of "elbow grease" you can make it look pretty darn good. Even with...

Interior looks like 1960's decor to me. Maybe not, but it definitely doesn't look like what I would have expected. AND at just $1.75 million, that simple life could be yours. Seems a bit high, but then again too - it is all what people will pay I guess.
Just in case anybody else wants to...

There are people who have titles from companies that allow you to title in a state that doesn't restrict HMMWV's. There are individuals who have gotten titles without the help of a company. Just plain, normal people who asked the right questions, filled out the right forms, mailed off some...

Some folks call that 4 sided ring a "Quad Ring". Might be useful to use that term when dealing with o-ring suppliers. A hydraulic shop may have those harder durometer rings and they definitely understand quad rings.
