5 ton M923A1 starting issue, again

. Congratulations! A few bucks later and a little time invested, you have happiness.

    Source for this decal?

. Sad part is that the liability insurance they have got to have to be in that business (GUESSING) was what forced them into creating that disclaimer. (Edit adding what and them)

Inflating tube tires with lock ring wheels

. That is a really good plan. First inflate and seat everything without the core. OR if the chuck is on the valve stem and you disconnect the hose - it will deflate. That is the way the tire shop guys do it when they are being taught. (long ago) The other thing is that if you get everything...

Inflating tube tires with lock ring wheels

. All you are doing is keeping the "flying parts" contained. Hook the chain to itself through the holes in the rim. Definitely want to use a remote fill clip on chuck as you mentioned. Then let it sit for a while and if you aren't in any great hurry, overnight isn't too long. Stand to the...

    GOVPLANET/USMC latest EUC times?

. You might get approved in 90 days at that rate. Not especially great - but better than a lot of folks have experienced recently. Wish it was better and faster for you. On the other hand, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting...

    M1114 roof on m998

. Now all you need is a 50 BMG in a mount on top and you will be ready for action!

Replacement aluminum heater core low heat output idea

. It isn't nearly as fancy as the snap on radiator covers, but cardboard in front of at least half of your radiator will help the problem in cold weather.

Operation: Ethel. Kendelrios M37 (re)build thread

. Absolutely! It is so neat when you are expecting it AND if you have an assistant driver. Accelerate (no wiper), let off & clutch in (wiper!) and repeat through the gears. Then do it again every time you start off - even on flat ground.

Operation: Ethel. Kendelrios M37 (re)build thread

. Electric is going to be more reliable. Vacuum operated wipers have a serious lack of vacuum on a long up hill pull for example. The manifold vacuum will go almost to zero and the wipers will stall. No big deal, unless it is raining hard... Electric wipers keep moving until the motor burns up.

    My new 1992 M998 Avenger

    . Nicely done!

Ol wet carpet had to go, but what is this?

. Wonder if it is a radio mounting bracket?

    M1102 HMMWV trailer chassis

. I don't have the official "how to do the job" instructions, but in days gone by a trailer with surge brakes -- backed against a tree -- has worked in the past. The trailer with a small load on it attempting to back up a small hill will apply the brakes. That is why there is a lockout that is...

    stencils

. Ah. Okay, so it is easier than anything with a computer tied to it. Limited to one size, but definitely cool to have! Still, bet it could be used as a template for larger letters. Cut what you want, then scan it, then trace it - then push that file to a cutter that will follow the shape...

    M37 windshield removal question

. Wow!! And not broken. Pretty amazing!

    stencils

. What do you "feed" that machine with? Can it take a CAD file of some sort - or does it use a specific set of fonts? What do you do for shapes? Can you import a file for shapes (could be letters or an image) and then scale it? If there is an import function, what kind of files will it open...

    M37 windshield removal question

. Wow. That looks like a fragile piece of metal - that will be darn near unobtainable it if breaks. Is that an allen screw on the passenger side bolt? I am just guessing, but on the inside can you reach the other side of that bolt? Hopefully? Looks like a two man job for sure...

What did you do to your trailer today.

. Lookin Good @cucvrus ! Pretty nice pile of firewood too.
