Can you use just the base engine ( complete motor less accessories) from the 548 and just add the 113 accessories you have to it, or do you have two different engines?
That looks like it should work just fine. You could eliminate one pair of filters if you just attached the first pair between the intake line and pump and just disconnect the input line from the tank and drop it in the barrel. Know what I mean? This is easier if you use all flexible hose and...
Definitely worth pre- filtering. You never really know where the fuel has come from, how many nasty tanks it has been transferred into and out of, and when the last time any of their filters were changed, much less the water content of the tanks that they use is. You can never filter too much...
It would be to your benefit to put the filters before the pump. Anything you can do to keep wear down on the pump components is great. As far as your downloading system, I'm not sure I follow you in your design approach. Are you wanting to run it through the same filters? Not sure how you would...
Yeah, yeah I know. Believe me I had no choice. That's the first time and the last time if I can help it. I even called my local heavy wrecker and he had no way to hook the wheel lift to the axle and the truck was too tall to go on the rollback deck. He didn't have his pintle hitch with him so he...
Do it at least once a week. I believe the operators manual says daily, but weekly is fine. If you keep the tank full it helps keep the condensation down.
Good deal, just remember that you still need to drain the water from the fuel filter canisters regularly. You still get water in the tank from condensation, it just doesn't rust.
I just set mine where I'm safe no matter what I'm pulling or what grade I'm climbing. Mine still has the LDT in it, but it still applies. I don't mind not having max power all the time as long as I don't have to worry about melting something. I'm comfortable with the power I have at 10-11 psi...
To do that here you have to be a legal registered impound lot with the state, have 8' high chain link fences with barbed/ concertina wire tops, insurance, bonded, enough red tape to not make it worth doing. But I do have a friend with an impound yard.
They've been here over a year now, and I haven't been able to contact the owner for at least the past 2-3 months. As far as I'm concerned I own them, the other guy just has an option to buy them back. I keep threatening to break out the torch if I don't get paid what I'm owed, and I'm beginning...
