You are right, Tracer. I didn't think it would be sad. But then when you see how the airframe was changed, it just is NOT the same aircraft.

Unless it's shipping on a lowboy, I suspect that the shipper will put it on a tilt-bed of some kind (which generally all have a winch on the bed).
I'd talk to the shipper but it might not make any difference to them (as long as they know the probability ahead of time). It's worth the call to...

My wife used to work on the Hill, and she told me once that's the way the system works. The Rep's rely heavily on their staff (they have to, the job involves just too much to know for any one person).
