You are referring to the differences between the M44A2 and M44A3 series.
M109A4 is the same as an M35A3, but with the shop van body.

Unless a compressor has 100% sealing on the ring(s), it's going to put some amount of oil in the tank(s).
So easy fix?
1. Live with it until it gets so bad you can't take it or the compressor doesn't put out any air pressure.
2. Replace with another used unit, hope it lasts awhile.

If somebody ended up getting it and parting it out, I might be interested in the work light mounts on the back of the cab if:
A. They're still usable
B. The price is right (I'm cheap!).

Ok, the green hardware is the older truck-it's clintogf's '69 A2 with the single circuit brakes. You can see that the PTO shift lever is sandwiched in a stamped steel mounting bracket that bolts onto the side of the single circuit master cylinder via two cast bosses which are threaded/

If you are using the factory 1987-1989 parts (the cast mount for the master cylinder) it has an ear/boss for the pto linkage to attach to. You will not use the stamped pto lever mounting bracket like the older trucks use.

When I was a service writer at a repair shop, I saw a surprisingly high number of older pickups that had had access holes cut in the bed to access dead in-tank fuel pumps.
People being too lazy to drop the tank or remove the bed.
