If the DOT and EPA would allow KIA to import them they would prob do a land office business in the oil patch.
That is what the A3 deuces should have been like.
I can't make it this week due to a prior commitment and getting ready for the GA Rally....the rally is the week after that.
I'll call Adam (GL guy up there) and see what he thinks about them.
You need to factor in shipping when you think about how much you want to spend.
I checked out both of those trucks last week when I was picking up some stuff for another member.
They show lots of wear and tear but they have the 1100x20 radials on them.
I didn't crank them but I was told that they are both runners.
If you win one I can pickup and hold. PM for details...
My original intent was to cut the ends off and sell them as culvert...then my buddy told me he would buy them whole to store fuel in (he runs a huge farm and buys fuel in bulk).
I was going to use one of them for a "root cellar".

I was going to post this to the Military RR Equipment Thread but THERE IS NOT ONE.....so I'll post it here.
Today five military tank cars sold at Kings Bay Submarine base in GA.
I had designs on said cars and even made a recon trip over there to see them in person.
(Note to self....getting...

Since you have the fever I'd lowball him at 2500 bucks and see if he bites....flash some 100 bills.
If it had a winch, hardtop, decent tires and interior I'd say it was a 3500 hundred dollar truck....the one you described is about a 2500...
I think the situation has been resolved....the guy I bought the tanker for told me to come over to his farm and pick one out...seems he bought a butt load of pup trailers and dollys. They are holding down a piece of ground at his place.
Thanks for the replies.[thumbzup][thumbzup]
No...it's an SOS.....without a dolly I can't drag my van trailer to the GA Rally and the possums won't have a warm place to sleep.
Last year I sold my M915 before the rally thinking I could get another one and had to be rescued by the good hearted Woodywood.
This year I sold my M915 before...
I think it has cooties in it.....there have been some strange goings on up there.
I may have already found one close to home......thanks for the suggestion.
Then why are they still selling them at other locations?
I got an email from one of the folks me and Ron assisted about picking up MK48's at another location.
My olefactory senses detect a rodent.
Well folks we are close to the GA Rally and I have no tractor to pull the van trailer there with.
I had a civy tow dolly borrowed but it will not fit the pintle on the M927 and I do not want to whittle away at the hitch to make it work....it is also a POS that I don't trust to get me to GA...
I like it........the old trucker in me has to ask......does it have the "naked lady" mudflap chrome accessories?
It also needs dual chrome stacks with bull hauler turn outs, and some polished aluminum rims.
I hope you put air ride seats and AC in it.
This is addressed to all those MK48 owners that Ron and I assisted in recovering their vehicles.
I'm going to put my Public Affairs Supervisor hat back on and put the following information out.
Take my advice or not but as before I'm here to help if needed.
Yes, when you purchased the...
I was looking to bid on some items that would have generated 100,000 pounds of scrap.....the scrapper I was going to sell it to called me today and offered $10.50 per hundred pounds.
That caused me not to bid on said items.
He told me that scrap prices were going to the basement until after the...
I would go for a 900 series dump...straight air brakes and most of them have the 250 Cummins (some upgraded ones have the turbo 8.3 Cummins in them).
The 900's are not much more expensive than the 800's now.
