Just make sure the seller has a valid title for the vehicle......only a certain number of HUMVEE's got out of the gate whole.
The rest were put together from surplus parts and salvaged vehicles.
If you want to be able the engage the trailer brakes without using the brake pedal you will need to install a hand valve (also known as a "trolley brake" or "Johnny Bar") inside the cab (usually on the steering column).
This is useful when coupling to a trailer that has an air over hydralic...
I have seen them on GL too.
I think I remember them being used to deliver ammo to the ranges when I was at Fort Benning back in the 80's.
They were assigned to the Temporary Motor Pool (TMP) and were dispatched to units that needed them.
Some TMP vehicles were assigned to certain units...
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.:cookoo:
You are heading down the slippery slope of Military Vehicle Addiction.....there is no cure...only the next coolest vehicle you buy.
Don't say you weren't warned.
I think Clinto's stated goal was 100 trucks (we had around 80 last year) and 300 people.
EDIT.

Maybe we should have a sign in roster and get an accurate account of who came and what they brought with them.

Find a hidden location under the truck where you can get to the fuel line. Put in a shut off valve and close it off. Just don't forget to open it when you want to drive it.
All axles on the tractor pull and the front and rear axle steer. The trailer is a nightmare of hydrolic hoses, air lines and stub axles. The rear axles on it steer also......I never saw one with more than a hundred miles on it that didn't run as crooked as a three legged dog.
For what the...
Got beer? That's the quickest way to attrack help with most MV degenerates.
If you have fuel to the pump, the engine will turn over but she still won't fire off then you may have a hydrolic head or injector pump issue (you may know this by now).
Are there any fellow MV addicts close by with...
It's my understanding that when the EUC is researched at Battlecreek, MI they use reverse lookup to determine residence. If you have been using one address and suddenly switch to another it could cause problems. I still use the first address I submitted even though I don't live there (ex-wife's...
There's only four kinds of snakes I don't like.....big ones, little ones, dead ones and live ones.
I don't go out of my way to kill them but if Jake surprises me he gonna become a good snake.
The caps will not be ready until the Monday before the rally...if you ordered T-shirts and want a cap too I'll hold your shirts and ship everything together to save postage.
