    Roadside safety: Stay Alive!

With my luck, the person trying to read my sign would be distracted by same and bang into someone else.

    4.56 vs 4.10 Gears

I have an opportunity to select either gear ratio for my contact converted M1008. I would normally advise folks to just stay with the 4.56 but there are other factors pulling me towards the swap. At 2800rpm, I would gain 6 MPH. My concern is losing acceleration and towing capacity. Has anyone...

M1102 with S250 (M11S250) Shelter Expedition Camper Project Start

To the naked eye, that shelter looks a little smaller. Fits the trailer nice. I'm kinda curious if it might be an S318.

    Trailer safety!!!!

In reference to the original article and why they would be hooking it back up to the truck, here where I work, any vehicle involved in a traffic homicide incident gets impounded for a "Vehicle Autopsy". It's possible that they were put back together and securing it to a trailer for transport...

Schools were a major and deciding factor when we bought our GA house. No other county in the mountains remotely compared. Kids will be starting there next school year.

    M101 A1 or M1101

It depends on what you plan to do. Do you own both of these or shopping for one? If shopping, I would suggest The M101A3. It has an 8' long bed. The M101A1 does too but only 45" between the fenders. Needs should dictate what you take.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Had the underdash starter relay stick on one of the trucks. Was able to get both negative cable off before any smoke escaped. Dumped the factory relay in favor of the one Devilman96 used in his CUCV build back in 2009. Works great again.

Car trailer for 2 1/2 ton truck

Add a received hitch and tow any car trailer you like. If you specifically want a military trailer, there really isn't any good options.

    Newbie from upstate NY

Bigger toys require bigger tools, that's all. Very doable. Thinking that might have been a liftgate truck before.

    Hubs driving me crazy

Remove the vents. Make sure there is nothing blocking the casting in the hole then install a nipple and extend the hose up. Run this as a temp to positively rule out vents. I've found all kinds of issues related to these vents. I've owned a dozen or so deuces and at least 75% of my leaks were...
