ABSOLUTELY!
We are going to have fun here!
As we learn about stuff together...
Some of us get to go fast while the rest of us plug along at about 55 or 60.
One speed, Wide Open, and both feet flat on the floor!

Only thing that needs to be considered almost as much as RPM is the ability to fade that RPM number quickly. Brakes are gonna be important one day and more stopping power might become an issue. Just thinking out loud but are there any measurements for that?
Something moving 25% FASTER...

It would be interesting to see what the test kits would actually do - or tell me. Might be that there would be a mad scramble for folks to buy one or both if they knew what it would do. Maybe?
If you figure out what you want for one let me know please?
.
Well that's neat!
If you can convince your wife to hang out in the back and shoot video or take pictures - we will be even more amazed! AND we will offer up and "Ata-Girl" award just for her... Maybe?

Honestly, I would think that out in the wilds of Wyoming - there wouldn't be any car thieves. Guess that isn't so even there and it really is a shame.
My opinion is that if we treated vehicles like horses were back in the day, thieves could be hung from the nearest tree and THAT would solve a...

Congratulations on your new hobby and new-to-you truck alconair07 !
The guys are right. Take your time. Read those really dry and boring books - and believe us - when we say will help keep you safe and "learn you" a lot of stuff that you need to know with a vehicle that large.
New fluids...

Does the shaking and quivering happen only when your foot is on the brake peddle?
Maybe a crack in the rubber diaphragm in the brake booster?
Quick way to verify is to put the truck against a tree and see if it idles smoothly - without the foot brake engaged.

Yes Sir.
Button resets if there is a sudden pressure drop in the brake lines.
Opening the bleed screw rather than "cracking it open" - especially if you have a power bleeder setup will (could) set it off.
The wire does nothing but light up the bulb on the dash.

Not specific to Florida - but here in North Carolina - the ladies at the DMV in Harrisburg pad the fields with "Zero's" to get 17 characters. Their book on how to use their NCDMV Software tells them to do it that way... That particular location is what they call a "Contract Station" ...

That's always good news!!
Funny how some sort of calamity "at the house or the shop" stops a project, then you have to go back and see where you were. Hate to say that has happened to me before too. The fix for me personally is to leave a wrench hanging on whatever I was working on last...
.
Occasionally there are auction items that would be interesting... The ICE box that you could plug into the terminal in your truck. Hunting down the software might be another adventure though. There are several guys here @ SS with the software and the ICE.
Is/Was that your goal?

It definitely would be a useful tool in a seriously cold environment.
Would think it would be a BIG PLUS to add valves on the block (inlet and outlet) to shut it down if a hose broke or the plastic heater cracked. Moving water seems like a heck of a plan to me too!
.
And then the Tree Huggers will be out in front of your house protesting the tail pipe emissions from your cows.
Maybe there haven't been enough folks who moved from CommieFornia to Alabama to start a protest (yet)...
.
Agreed. Proportioning Valve "saves your bacon" if the front OR rear brake lines (rubber or steel) are cut, broken, or yanked loose from the frame or axle. Brake performance is reduced - especially if it is the front brakes. After you make the needed repairs, pressing the little button under...
