I didn't click the link before. The price is darn reasonable. I don't know how it is with you, but I can deal with a constant noise a lot better than "noise - no noise - noise - no noise" . So, if your generator is outside running continuously, it would almost become white noise.

Wonder if the manufacturing company here in Gastonia - the one that builds those little struts - for BMW and Mercedes (for sure) on their American Manufactured cars builds that same piece made here?
Stabilus is the company
Lift-O-Mat is their branding
Long years ago, the kids in the high...

Ahh... So, if a guy had unlimited funds he could have the best.
Otherwise, the electric version is the way to go until you find yourself a SugarMomma

Yessir, and it would seem to me that if the under-floor heat was really doing its job, eventually the radiant heat should eventually start to warm up more things. Especially since hot air rises... Maybe I missed the conversation, but wouldn't one of those Eberspächer recirculating pumps that...

Wow that thing has a heck if a kit with it...
Migginsbros , that is one tough MV - and it seems incredibly useful too!
Especially for the liquid refreshment runs ;-)

That one with the church as you pop out of the end just might be telling you something if you had done something wrong.
Also notice they don't mess around with height. Here's the number in big bold letters on a yellow sign.
You hit-a-my bridge and I'm gonna be ill with you...

I really like the covered bridge!
Somehow, a trip along through the mountains - and stumbling across one of those is always a bright spot on the trip.

Very nice... I had a neighbor that lived behind my mom and dad's house out off Albemarle Road here in Charlotte. That kid was about 4 years younger than I was - and his dad and grandpa had a jeep similar to yours. I spent a lot of summers riding hundreds of acres of pasture and woods. We...

Part of the magic of ownership...
No matter what you do or fix, you won't go unpunished.
Something else will be quietly discovered - or - like your door, it will be painfully in your pocket.
Might as well smile. Now you know exactly what needs to be done next :)

Yessir, I have a very old dog that isn't far from his time. He still gets along well but slow.
Still acting like a normal dog with all his functions. No trouble now, but it won't be long I'm afraid.
Glad that she could do what needed to be done.

Sad, but it is the cycle of life.
Funny how you can take care of critters that way - but whoa nellie - if you did that sort of thing for people "it would be uncivilized". Maybe that has more to do with money than being civilized. Think about all the money spent on planting people...

M.Ellis That looks pretty sharp! They seem to hold the hood up almost straight.
It even looks like the wind wind would have to work hard to shove the hood down on your head...
.
That is no fun at all...
On the bright side, at least you have a machine to help what would otherwise be a really miserable thing.

Problem that fixes itself is great.
So long as it doesn't come back to bite you later.
Might just be that whatever sprayed it with solved it long term - or...

When something goes wrong on the highway, we get a lot more attention in these trucks than a hot rod car. The DOT folks pull out the rule book and start looking for a reason. The hot rod gets picked up and put on a rollback and is driven away. The highway man and DOT inspectors start...

Yes Sir!
What the TM does NOT tell you is to index the Zerks!
Aligning all the grease fittings on the U-Joint so everything can be greased all at one time...
Much less rolling back and forward is a royal pain - especially when you know you (me) caused it...

I worked for an engineer that was absolutely "bent" on not using split (lock) washers. We built whatever he dreamed up, so "no split washers" were used on hos projects. I would imagine that properly torqued fasteners will most likely work even with split washers. However (and his...
