My plan is to be there if the weather is good....since I don't have a tractor to pull the big show van with I'll be hauling trade goods with the Dodge Dually and gooseneck.
The Dixie Division is also hosting the MVPA convention in Huntsville, AL this summer.
I do inspections and recoveries at Redstone and Anniston Army Depot.....I had been charging 30-50 dollars to do previews depending on if I was going there anyway. With the price of fuel that is prob going to change. It also takes me at least half a day if I go to Redstone and I feel my time is...
If you are very careful not to bugger up the gasket you can replace the filters and reinstall the can....then tighten down the bolt and check for leaks. Getting a new gasket in while hanging upside down can be a real beotch.
If you have to replace the gasket the best thing to do is to remove...
It sounds like a lot of fab work for little return......the advantage of a drop side is that you can load/unload from the side with a forklift.....the M105 bed is short enough where you should be able to reach far enough in to load/unload from the back.

If the answer to the above is yes then you can prob make some bucks if you...
Needs paint.................and a chainsaw to remove the timber from the front bumper.
I'm going to hazard a guess here and say that it looks like it's been there a while.
If the tip popped off an injector you may have raw fuel (verses atomized fuel) spraying into the cylinder....that would cause black smoke and excessive heat.
Just my WAG.
Welcome from the outback of Alabama......home of Elmo D Possum, the Steel Soldiers unofficial mascot marsupial (that's Elmos' groupie in the pic, not me).
My goal is to visit Austrailia before I get too old to enjoy it......got a spare bedroom?rofl
I plan on being there but prob not in an MV since I am in between tractors right now.
Prob be in the Boss Lady's Dodge dually with the gooseneck.
Anyone interested in riding down and sharing cost for fuel.
The first deuce I bought had a hardtop that had been modified with a "Redneck gun ring hole" made out of a 55 gallon drum with a locking ring top. It was a PP design and leaked like a sieve.
I know I have seen some hardtops modified with what looked like a professional cover....it had still...
