Self Locking Door Handles for the Deuce

Did they mount in the original mounting holes or did you also have to redrill for them?

    a deuce rollback conversion?

Please move the discussion over the pre-existing thread-no need for 2 threads about an identical topic.

I have been wanting a deuce,

This will probably help you out (see attachment). Definitely spend some time just reading the various threads in the deuce forum, you'll learn a lot about what to expect.

    m44a3

5 ton on road capacity, 2.5 ton offroad capacity. They read the dataplate wrong. The military rates these for their "worst condition max" ergo they call them 2.5 ton models.

    Youngest Deuce owner

Nice truck-winch, air shift, electric wipers, etc. What are the pads on the front bumpers? Are those track pads? Looks like they are the right width apart to catch a pair of bumperettes just right.

My landlord would have a fit...

Dok, I modified your original post to conform to the rules here on SS. KsM715 has helpfully posted them. We just had a 9 page discussion about auction rules: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/conversations/58831-2-1-2-tonners-auction.html Members also have to read the site rules and accept them...

    m35a2 losing prime

benand117, I merged your two identical threads. Please do not cross post identical topics/threads in multiple forums. Additionally, this topic really isn't appropriate for the "deuce modification & hot rodding" forum-that forum is for topics related to modifying deuces-you are trying to repair...

    dumb brake question

I think it will work, but you will really have to stand on the pedal. I've moved one around the yard with no air and I really had to press on the pedal to get it to stop. That airpack really makes a difference. But I'd try it.

    Keyed Ignition

I realize the technical issue you are having is specific to your installation, but since there has been a substantial amount of discussion regarding keyed ignition switches over the years, I think I would have found the most relevant thread and added your question/issue to it. That way, in the...

    Unwanted Total Blackout

Guys, please use the search feature to try and find topics which already exist. Once you have found them, please add to them versus creating new threads. This will help all of us when troubleshooting problems in the future. 2 or 3 5-page threads are much better than 10 threads with 3 or 4...
