*cough* his employer is running XP still.. *cough*
I think the site software will automatically resize images down but I don't know if I've ever ever tried to upload a BIG image like 10mbs. I'll try it today and see what it says.
I agree with TM-I'd try and remove the winch form the truck and unspool the cable. Remember to put a piece of plywood between the radiator and the winch to protect the radiator when you remove it. These winches can move around a lot when hanging on an engine hoist.
Plus, once it's off, if...
Raeme, your CCKW looks great. That's a big undertaking, pulling the cab, bed, driveline, repowering, etc.
I see you upgraded the brakes-what setup are you using?

A couple of members have PM'd me, asking for help in posting pictures.
I decided to take some time to help folks out this morning by (crudely) photoshopping a walk-through type tutorial for our members who are not computer proficient but...
I've never seen the manuals online for free-I ended up buying the manuals on CD on ebay. It was pretty cheap and had most of the manuals for GPW, MB, M38 and M38A1.

I'd like to see a way to browse multiple...
You keep trying to taunt members by making snarky comments like this all the time and you are going to be gone. I don't know if you are trying to anger site members, the moderating staff or the site ownership, but that really doesn't matter. Nobody is going to come on to the site and...
Guys, I am really sick of this crap.
I think we've (I've) explained the rules abundantly.
Break em? Get banned.
Try to sneak around them? Yeah, we'll probably ban you for that too.
This is just ridiculous. I hate being this blunt but it's almost like if you try to treat people nice and...
I can almost guarantee they will never make a better one. It's cheaper to either replace the current model or tell customers to take a hike than to tool up and make one with better materials/tolerances/etc.
An internet forum with smart people is an amazing resource.
I have an F-150 with a poorly designed HVAC unit that dealers charge $800 to replace. I googled "rebuilt 2003 F-150 HVAC" and found a thread where a guy on an F-150 forum took his apart and rebuilt it for $2.00 (4 tiny o-rings).
So...
