The NHC 250 is an M809 series 5 ton engine, so one of 2 different scenarios exist:

Z, I have a parts A1 frame that is mostly good... it's rust free and straight but has had a typical GM Saginaw power steering box crudely welded to the front. It would make a good parts frame.
I'll be happy to bring it along with your parts tub this week. My Dad or Dave are coming over one...
If the brakes are ok, worn tie rods and ball joints are far more likely culprits than sway bar bushings.
You can test ball joints and tie rods for wear using a pair of pliers to measure vertical play.

They really had a hard time with it and I was never sure they understood...
clintogf has an M1009 which has only been painted once, at the factory and it's wheels are green (matching the vehicle). I've never checked the date codes on the rims so I can't be 100% sure they are the originals, but the paint (and fade) matches the vehicle.
