That's actually the frame-and there is a small dent on one of the tubes, I can't remember which side it is. Looks like it's been there a while-I don't think I did it.

We're taking our Mule to the rally-they make great trail riders.
The bolt question I can't answer, but to make a 12V timing light work for a 24V system, simply feed the light 12V from either a separate battery or pull 12V off just one of the vehicle's batteries, then connect the clip to the ignition wire as you normally would.
I suspect all of that has to do with the advanced age(s) of the drivers more so than than the equipment.
The MVPA is a slightly older demographic than SS.
