My scraper usually pays me a hair more that other folks because I bring him good quaility stuff.
MV's are made of good steel and bring premium prices when you bring in a big load.
It's basic economics......I held on to several thousand pounds of sheet metal parts (ovm boxes, battery boxes...
Make a version to go on top of a deuce or 5 ton and bring them to the GA Rally......if the price is right you will sell out.
I agree with using the old school pioneer rack....the HUMVEE one looked like crap on a stick.
I still have the "Kota".....the big red Dodge belongs to the Boss Lady.
I was going to take the M915 and the flatbed but I wanted to make some money on the deal.
If you put in a pump you are going to have positive pressure......where ever the system is sucking in air you are going to have fuel leaking out.......this can cause all kinds of problems.....not the least of which is attention from the environmental zealots.
If you pressurize the system...
Be sure to bump this up when we get closer.
I used to go the Camp Blanding a lot.....just up the road from Keystone Heights.
That would be a good road trip.
I know a place that has so many of them that they sell them.rofl
Get your money right and I'll sell you a cherry one that I bought a few months ago and use to pull my drop deck van trailer with.
Me and Elmo made a trip up tp Redstone today to pick up some trailers for fellow SS member rogerm101a2.
Teresa and her crew were (as usual) on the ball and I was in and out pretty quick.
One the way up Elmo picked out a nice card for the GL office and some doughnuts.
Teresa allowed me to...
Close enough for government work.
Or you could find one close to you from a private buyer and have instant gratification (no waiting for EUC to clear).
You would also know that there is not a hole in the block you can put your hand in. GL has a way of omiting that picture from the ones they...
Run.....run fast.......saaaaaaaaave yourself before it's too late!!!!!!!!!!
But if you hang around.......welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.:cookoo:
Only 10 months to the next GA Rally.....be there or be square.
I bought a 12 to 24 volt rectifiier from Southern Automotive.
Good folks to do business with......order was shipped quick and the component came with good instructions and a schematic.
There are a buttload of CUCV's coming up on GL. Check the southern states, they will be cheaper here but you will have to pay shipping or drive it back to Chi town.
I have my M915 insured with Progressive.....it's kind of a commercial policy but I can't do commercial hauling.......I can haul my big van trailer or a flatbed and haul my own stuff.
It cost me about $750.00 a year.
I see that you are in a communist state so that may have something to do...
BUMP
I will be going to Redstone next week (maybe as early as Monday if I can sweet talk Teresa into an afternoon appt).
If you have anything to pick up let me know, I am getting two trailers for a fellow member and I may have room on the gooseneck for a small item or small trailer.
I am...
That part was/is a classic example of "planned obsolesense" by a automaker.
When I was driving them we went to great lenghts to avoid using the rear window because they were so prone to failure.
Was it the young guy that is also in the National Guard unit that brought the truck and Humvee out?
Very sad news...especially this time of the year.
Maybe our chaplain can send a card on behalf of Steel Soldiers.
