That airframe of hers looks featherweight, too; I noticed her groundsman picking it up at the tail wheel with one hand I think it was and walking it back to the apron. It must be pure raw horsepower with wings.
As soon as I posted and looked at the two pics together I figured it out:
- I can see the area with the two zerk-like fittings behind the device you used for the by-pass; got it!
What did you do to plug the two "zerks"?
Nice gauge "pod"; I'm not familiar with the flame heater:
- What's the connection between the pic on the far left and the pic on the far right, are those both separate components of the flame heater?
Thanks for the follow-up, frank8003.
It would be nice to know what was the nature of the "improper manufacturing" (like missing a part? or maybe a bad weld?).
Svetlana; she is something else!
Does anybody here know what the stick was she operated with her left-hand (I get that the thumb-button operated her "smoke"), but was that her throttle?
Sweet. What have you got?
You know, like check out wadefreedomvehicles line-up (a couple of posts back in #2 8 8 ).
I mean it's none of anybody's business, but that doesn't stop people from being "nosey" and asking. What are you running?!
Wishing you, and everybody here, a blessed Thanksgiving!
And what's the deal with Daimler not designing-and-building a hood that fits properly over the engine compartment?
That doesn't sound right (you know German engineering and all). What gives?
