That's absolutely fair, completely.
And you're a good man to pony it up, even if not requested. It's the right way to go.
I was just hoping that you got a "steal" of a deal, that's all! [thumbzup]
I didn't realize that Stanley makes the rivets, and that the name Pop-Rivet is their product trademark. Thanks for that lesson, Brother Valence! [thumbzup]
I do not believe that Pop-Rivets feature a tapered shaft:
- the shaft diameter is constant, and the anchoring effect comes from pulling...
That is beautiful country.
I can't remember if all of Texas was once Comanche territory or if it was just one part. I'm thinking they were mostly on the Plateau. Are you in the Comanche territory there, do you know?
Surprised myself, what I remember is backed up (by somebody who might know):
http://www.paintquality.com/en/advice-and-tips/faq/exterior/Latex-Paints-Over-Oil-Based
I'm rusty on my paint skills; but the way I remember it, oil floats on water:
- So you can apply an alkyd or oil-based paint over an older latex paint surface.
- But applying latex paint over older oil-based paint surfaces is inviting trouble.
I have absolutely no credentials to back this up...
