If you are only going to buy one deuce I would reccommend buying one from a SS member locally.......you can drive it and make sure it is in good condition
You don't have to jump through GL's hoops and you can play with your truck immediatly.
Just make sure it has a clear title.
Prob a little less than the going rate. Whatever that may be. I'll have to check and see if it is out there.
I would trade it for a cab reinforcement plate if I have it.
I got too much junk and too little time.
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.:cookoo:
We tried to start a 12 step program but nobody wants to quit.
The best thing to do is come to the support group at the GA Rally.
You can prob find a shelter deuce there that is up for adoption.
It is the premier SS rally in the...
How many mult-fuels can you buy for the price of one Cat?
We all have opinions and are free to voice them....my opinion of the A3's is, and always will be, that they were designed by a moron after consulting with a group of idiots (or retired Transportation Officers).
You can't gold plate a...
I have cleaned out the center console in the dodge, checked the couch and chairs for loose change, and scrapped every piece of aluminum and copper I have to build up the "Green Iron Slush Fund".
Does anybody need a set of legs for a ring mount?
$600.00 for the set.....I may also have the ammo box mount on one of them.
I'll bring them if I have a buyer.
I do patronize the NAPA in town here but they used to be an independent and then got a NAPA franchise. Lots of big truck stuff there.
The NAPA corporate stores seem to be the ones that are hosed up the most.
My son works at Advance and they can get filters and other items so I get a discount...
I have an M275 (deuce tractor) with the naturally aspirated engine.......it does pretty good on flat land but with a decent load on it it has never met a hill it likes.
I agree with Chief.....do your basic and AIT and then have some fun with MV's.
You need to concentrate all your efforts to...
I'm not Kenny (I'm Richard) but I am going to help him sell anything he doesn't want.
Everything I salvage will go to the GA Rally first....if it don't sell there I may post it in the classifieds but I don't do Paypal or credit cards.
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.:cookoo:
I am in Sand Rock, AL (near Leesberg). If you get over this way give me a holler.
The GA Rally is the place to be in Oct.
Come join the madness.
My business card has been on file with them for many years...never had a fraud problem.
Make sure you update the expiration date on the card......ask me how I know.
In my opinion the best thing to take with you is a positive attitude and a willingness to work with the GL folks.
I have a good working relationship with the GL crew at Redstone and I have heard what happens to people that go in there and get ignorant with them.
They always treat me with...
Any engine painted yaller is going to cost you money when it breaks. I would not hasten the process by using alternative fuels in it (even bio-diesel).
Unless you work it like a rented mule you can prob afford regular diesel.
The multi-fuels were designed to burn scrounged fuel if it came to...
