Genesco has them as well. They have a place on Old Spanish Trail and a big lot out in Yokum. I don't have their website here at home. If I remember, I will post it from work Monday.
By the way, the front end shaking like that is commonly referred to as "Death Wobble."
RE: Re: RE: horn button issues
As always, check your ground would be my first suggestion.
With the air system empty, you should be able to hear the solenoid clicking if it functions. It will sound just like a flipper on a pin ball machine which works exactly the same way.
RE: Re: RE: horn button issues
The horn solenoid has a rubber tipped plunger. Air coming to the horn holds this plunger down. A spring keeps the plunger against the air line to the horns when there is no air in the system, but it is not very strong. When you energize the coil, the plunger is...
My students break about 1 bolt off a week here in my class. You name the brand of extractor, and we have broken it off in the drilled out bolt. Then the problem is tougher because the extractor is normally stronger than the broken bolt and the drill bit needed to git it out of the way.
Left...
RE: m35 oil pressure
Look at the PS magazine articles link down on the lower left of the page. There is a cartoon about which gauge and sender and the readings. The -20 manual also covers how to check the gauge and sender with a volt meter.
It reads like you have a mismatched set or one part...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Best ways to Res
The only numbers that should "match" are the data plate and the frame number. The frame number is stamped into the frame between the drivers side front wheel and the front bumper. You can squat in front of the tire and should be...
RE: duece clutch replacement
Just to clue you in. Once you get all the stuff in place and actually move the transmission out of the way, it will be one of the easiest clutch changes you have ever done.
The last and first one I did took a little over an hour to get the transmission on the...
Yes. You saw how full that trailer was. The payload was supposed to be a max of 6300 pounds. We all know a M715 is right about there by itself. Then we had 2 pallet boxes full in the front, all the stuff in the bed of the truck along with a lot of heavy stuff between the axles under the...
I have never used a M torsion bar trailer. But, I borrowed a torsion suspended trailer a few months ago. 26 foot box trailer to haul a M715. The trailer had a max gross weight of 9K. I know there was at least 12-15K inside that thing. I rode a little lower for sure. But, the tires weren't...
These guys here have tires with tubes and flaps for around $50 normally.

They have the place in town and another place in Wharton. I don't remember which one has which kind of tire. They might tell you to call the other place once they tell you the number.
The only thing you don't have going to the rear from the front is the wire to the right brake light/turn signal. It isn't on your truck. You can do like DM suggested in the above post and you will have everything except blinkers for the right rear. Run another wire from the firewall back and...
Pretty much, you can modify the truck in some way or modify the trailer. The trailer is probably the easiest to mess with. Just change out the bulbs. You could also just run the 12V bulbs and carry a few spares. If you are doing day time driving, you probably will last a few days without...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Waking a MV from a deeeeeep sleep...
I figured Gasser, but wanted to make sure it hadn't been swapped out before I got all excited about another one.
I had mine buried to the steps in mud Saturday and that engine just wanted me to get into it harder to try and get out. I...
Here is another plug for the stock Garwood. I sank my M35 down to the runing boards yesterday. One pull of about 100 feet to one tree and another pull of almost 200 feet to another tree got me turned around and back to solid ground.
During the first pull, I had the winch in low and the...
