I don't think is so much being old.....we just got rode hard and put up wet too many times.rofl
Well.....we still have the GA Rally to look foreward to.:jumpin:
When the gooberment bailed out Chrysler a lot of their products ended up in the military.
I remember going to the TMP at Benning and getting a "K-car" to haul around the brass in....got my arse chewed by a Col. who thought he deserved a more prestigious vehicle.
I didn't miss a single pot...
For my part they can lose that rag top.....that's why I have hard top deuces....just asking for water and air leaks and morons with knives slitting the top.
If it is built by Chysler it will be under designed and overpiriced.
It will also be made mostly of plastic.
That being said it would...

As lothe as I am to start another project I can't get the picture of the 880 near me out of my mind. I may pop over there this weekend and check it out.
Since diesel is headed into the stratosphere and I need a full sized truck (that is smaller than the deuce) I am considering the 880.
Did I...
MWO=Modification Work Order......usually denotes a small modification such as the addition of seat belts (as in the M35A2 deuce), roll cage (as in the M151 Jeep) or other minor change or addition of kits (think heater or ether start kit).
A rebuild is when the vehicle is basically stripped and...

We tried to start a 12 step program but nobody wants to quit.
There are some good folks over your way.

Watch out for that AM GENERAL...
Since I am on the GL wagon this is not affecting me too much....but this is from a guy that once mistook a Playboy Magazine for a catalog and got writers cramp from filling out order forms.:-D

Ward Oil Co 2701 Louisiana Ave Tampa, FL 33610, Aaron Evenson, 800-232-5591, (813) 236-5591, B2 & up. Aaron should be able to give you a list of local locations.
I have the same issue when I click on "Locations".....if you go the "Events Calender" you can still look at items for sale all over.
Prob some technical glitch that will be taken care of promptly by GL's highly competent staff.
I know you can put discs on the deuce Rockwells to replace the drum brakes (I have seen them in the rock crawler mags).....not sure about the 5 tons.
There are big commercial rigs that have discs. One of those set ups might could be adapted.
It depends on how well it is maintained and if it is abused to the breaking point.
Running one right up against the governer for long periods of time can decrease life.
Turning one up and not installing a pyrometer can get you into trouble also.
I have a 55 gallon drum and a 12 volt pump with a filter on it.
I mix the fuel in the drum and then pump it into the deuce tank.....much better chance of getting it mixed correctly.
Plus the fuel is filtered several times before it goes through the truck filters.
When going off road with a vehicle that big you may have issues in wooded areas or terrain with overhanging rocks. Puttting bigger tires on it increases the highth and center of gravity.
You can reach Pucker Factor 10 real fast when something like that starts leaning on a slope.
Straight WMO is going to be thick......it may not be going through the injector lines or it may not be atomizing in the injectors.
This is why I ALWAYS cut WMO/WVO with something thinner.
Are you sure you are getting fuel from the secondaries to the Injector Pump.
You may have a problem...
