Yes, getting a messed up steering working perfect on an old truck is tricky. Mine is not yet perfect, I will try that valve adjustment trick as well.
As to the seals, there are several good threads on that, also under brake repair. I did mine some years ago, added that experience to an...
Our main places are in South Bohemia.
We have a museum with about village live, WWI and emigration to the USA, and 15 miles away in Nove Hrady a historic blacksmith workshop and in the nearby peat area our son has a large blacksmith workshop and a small railroad.
So probably a meeting will...
Clinto, very clear explanation. (y)
I am happy to be in the Czech Republic, not in the USA. I have an entrepreneur's license and also am running a Czech non-profit. The non-profit is like an LLC , individual board members are liable only up top something like $ 4 ,000, but only if proven to be...
Calendars: make that two please.
Meeting: me and my big mouth
 o_O :)
I will look for some space.
Our friends with their jeeps at our historic blacksmith workshop. They are a well-known blacksmith family (five brothers) each of them playing guitar, piano, or violin and all of them...
Put me down for one as well.
When are we going to organize a European meeting? Would be happy to help organize it, and the beer and accommodation in the Czech Republic is still cheap.
Probably bad or too complicated idea, but should we establish an LLC as "steelsoldiers" for such events so we just have to switch ?
I am from the Czech Republic, Europe, so I am really too far away (between 6 - 9 time zones. However, I am a project manager and also organize conferences and...
But that's your unimog, isn't it? So who owns the M51 (A2)
Guyfang, hopefully I will start work on the M51 in March again, finally finish it, then I will put it up for the contest.
Somebody really has to step up, we cannot let this die because two people can't do it anymore.
I am too far away and too chaotic for it. But I was planning to try again to come this year, as do others, so we need a new team.
Clinto, to make things easier, can the new person/team take over...

Logged in too late, too much going on. My vote would have gone to msgjd.
Always love to see an M51 doubling as M52. Below my M51A2 in both versions. Normally its an M51, but I can switch to M52 and back in an hour or so.
Sorry, lots to do, and twice a recurring tear gland infection in one eye and then a broken blood vessel in my other eye tends to limit your screen time rather efficiently.
:-D
Once we washed the moss from the hood it was rather easy.
There is some chatting from members pondering votes but what I am missing here is
nopics
What happened to promoting your vehicle???
nopics
It is not enough just to throw your vehicle in the pot, you also have to promote it or at least show us a few more pics of the vehicle and its...
If you need apples or plums, just holler, we have loads of them; don't know what to do with them. About 5 plum trees and 20 apple or so. A real pain when cutting grass, unless you like a face full of applesauce.
Tracer, nice pciture. These cars are indeed similar. Too bad our parents did not "barned" their old cars once they bought a new one. Those were very nice and comfortable cars.
In that case,
Sorry Guyfang, this time for me its not hard at all.
When in Beautiful British Columbia in 1981, I bought two Austin Westminster A105s.
Not my car, cannot find the pic now.
Very nice car, drove me up and down the Alaska Highway (that is from Mile 0 to Mile 422)...
