Picked up a CUCV II today. Since they're so rare I didn't have much choice in condition. It's going to need a lot of metal work and a donor parts car, but at least it runs and has a title.
Picked up a CUCV II today. They're hard to find, so I can't complain too much about the shape. It's going to need a lot of metal work and probably a donor parts car. At least it runs, drives, and is titled.
Still have the issue. Swapped the transmission relay with a brand new one and one off my m1123 and the transmission light is still illuminated with the ignition off. I swapped the circuit breaker and it still has the same issue. Cleaned all connections on the transmission. Unplugging the wires...

Any tips/tricks to get it back on? There's much less room to get my hands in to reconnect it than on a v belt engine.

Great to hear. Just got the parade info packet in the other day. Spoke with some friends of mine that are in the parade every year in another unit. They recommended to get there much earlier than I had expected. Their recommendation was to get their early, get lunch, and wait for it to start.
I called them directly and even they didn't know which ones to use. the point of my post was to get a part number, not really opinions of how they work. I already have a set for another vehicle that work fine.
Has anyone ever used Centramatics on the m1009 CUCV? If so, what model number did you use? The one's on my HMMWV work well so I'm thinking of getting a set for my blazer.
