above link to the place where I found my Donaldson parts. Have your machine close when you call Donaldson, so you can obtain measurements of the air filter housing while on the phone. There may be a sticker on the housing that lists the air...
Call Donaldson tech line with your air filter part number, they will be able to tell you what the series of air cleaner is in your machine, and give a breakdown of each part that makes up an assembly. Then you will have to find a Donaldson dealer to order the parts needed.
I had to do this...
What simp said.
DO NOT cut on the springs, they are heat tempered, and also have retaining pin bolt thru the center of the pack, and there is a lot of energy stored up in a leaf spring assembly. Be very careful when disassembling a spring pack. DO NOT add a lift block on the front axle to ANY...
We have been without power for 24 hours now. Currently running on our MEP-802a; wife is facebooking on the internet and nothing has been mentioned about the $3k I spent in febuary '17 on the non running genset. We have the fridge and deep freeze in the barn running on it also. Now all I have...
I have installed 16.00 r 20's on only one truck; a M923A0, and the tires barely touch the bed, at max articulation, with NO LOAD. Been running them for 2 years now, with zero issues.
I have heard but NOT confirmed that the Marine ISO beds are built "taller" and will clear the 16.00 r 20's...
Pictured above are 2 bad starters I have replaced, and a 3rd new gear reduction style I installed. I think the 2 bigger ones I replaced are a mt-40 and a mt-50.
I can personally attest to the ease of installation, and the lightweight attributes of the newer gear reduction units. The smaller...
Finally got my winch setup installed. Front bolts are 1/2-20, with lengths of 1.0", 1.5", and 2.0".
Oil capacity of the reservoir is approx. 7.25 gallons. Hydraulic filter is a Fram C1666 or Wix 51467.
Specs on the 2 hoses going to the winch from the valve body are: 91" in length, 3/4"...
On the subject of replacing bolts/nuts, I recently purchased a pull off winch setup for one of my M939 cargo trucks. I had noticed that the seller had used a torch to remove some of the bolts, and that I would need several. I ordered a couple different boxes of 1/2"-20 bolts, and other smaller...
Got around to assembling everything onto my new rebuilt winch today. Have a question about the winch input shaft and the parts that connect the pump to the input shaft. I understand how the woodruff key works, it is definitely not a shear pin.
Is the gold pin that goes thru the input...
Shutterstat could be failing, and pressurizing the entire cooling system with air, causing a leak at the weakest point. I had a shutterstat fail, it caused the truck to puke coolant out of the overflow tank like it had a failed head gasket. Also had bubbles of coolant coming out at multiple...
I am interested in changing the gearing in the Rockwell T1138 transfer case to something besides overdrive.
Truck is a M923A0 with 16.00r20 tires on HEMTT rims. Looking for a way to get the final drive ratio back to stock, in order to gain performance.
So would having custom gears built...
tobyS, your pto's look skinny. I will probably buy one from you soon, I have more than one truck. An additional 1/2" will affect it, but I believe the pto will still install with the 2 toolbox/step support bolts removed. Will check what clearance I have and report back in this thread.
Please...
