I had trouble with the truck puking coolant after rebuilding the radiator. Engine is a nhc250. Shutterstat was slowly pressurizing the coolant system and causing seeps at the hose clamps, and loss of coolant. I replaced the Shutterstat with a new one.

I am interested in the correct routing of a coolant filter for the nhc250 as well. I do not believe the heater hoses are the best place. Would be nice to have a pressure(hot) hose for the inlet, and a (cool) suction hose for the exit. Maybe wil wagner will chime in on this thread.

porkysplace beat me to it, remove each axle vent, soak and clean with compressed air. if they are stopped up, the axle will vent elsewhere like you are seeing. And that is a small seep, clean it with brake cleaner and drive the truck at least once per week to keep the seals wet.

Have you checked the little governor filter, located at the back bottom of the trans directly below the output shaft? It is behind a large cap nut, 15/16" or 1" maybe. Filter is the size of a thimble, stainless screen mesh.
