Very interesting that yours has the underbody protection kit installed. I have seen complete kits around $1k and pieces sold but can't recall a truck sold with it installed.
Nice score and bonus.
Cool and thanks for posting & follow up.
You are correct as lots of the newest leds out there are clear but flash in color. Heck my deck lights can light I think in 7 colors and different patterns.
Cool plate to have.....
interesting to see the wrecked ones has supplemental red lights on the front corners and one of the "new" ones has a clear light. Are these mp units ? and those are flashers?
Also what is the wording on the license plates? Never seen tactical vehicles with road plates.
515 should work or any good quality rtv silicone.
For the bolts., I like to use any of the Teflon white brush on sealers like loctite 565 0r 567 etc. Will also act as an antisieze lubricant.
The southern forest heritage museum close to Alexandria, LA highlights the history of Camp Claiborne and the training grounds for the WWII troops that trained to run the railroads on Europe.
Lots of WWII memorabilia and exhibits in the main museum and surrounding buildings. Also cool forestry...

Worth watching if you had not seen it.
Heck it looked like some of our surplus m998's were better than what they had..............
My son lived and worked in NH for 2 years. He told the vehichle inspection was extremely thorough. Not a mv but nothing like here in LA that is a very simple safety check.
Check your frame to make sure there is no rust. Sometimes on older m998 the frame held water and rusted. His inspector was...
I believe the original data plate is removed when they are uparmored and a new one installed. OE they are riveted not screwed in. Using the serial number to determine build is your best. Doubt you are going to find another data plate like the one referenced. Another long shot is there sometimes...
My recommendation on the trailer is to register it in Maine. Much cheaper and no title required.
You will need a bill of sale with manufacturer and vin to do so.
If you don't have those, be very weary if trailer is not home made as if it is a legit trailer, there will be a data plate of some...
In another lifetime I sold parts for 20 years.I do not recall seeing that kind of failure in an idler arm. Scary to think the loss of steering.....
What is the back story? On trail, on road, chasing zombies?
I wish moog would sell these items directly to us. AMG contract folks made a great job of locking up access to these parts as propriety so they control the market.
Damn shame the crap these firms put out. A cracked idler arm sounds like a class action lawsuit if multiple failures can be...
