Thank you SC for this useful post. I just replaced my HEUI pump on the C7 In my M1078. Thought the cause was the common catch all for the HEUI "dirty oil" cause. Just checked the tank vent line and it was clogged. justin wehring

If you have access to one try a new shift pad. I have had 2 go out with varying symptoms. One would even put itself in gear and drive off. justin

They are threaded to take a valve core but I have not yet found a cap that will fit Justin
