    New-to-me XM474E2

I am not so patiently waiting for the XM474E2 to arrive. It is basically an M113 chassis with a soft skin body. In the interim I want to pick your brain. I intend to have this be a modular vehicle with one module being a self contained 500gal brush fire fighting rig with which we can...

    Deuce front lift blocks

I'll bite This is a touchy subject but I will bite. I am not a fan of lift blocks but I don't consider welded blocks of reasonable height (2"-4") to be lift blocks. I would feel comfortable with 2" blocks that were welded to the tube and new (longer) u-bolts. I don't like lift blocks in...

    My First M52

I just brought home a multifuel M52. What a beast. Hope you like the pics. Towed it home today. Slaved it off and it fired right up. Drove it around for about 30 min to play with it. used the winch to drag a tree trunk. I love the 5 ton multifuel motor. Justin wehring 979 997 3112

    8" lift and 395 (46") tires

tires 11echo... who is your buddy? I have five new 365/80R20 Michelin XZL tires available. They are not surplus tires (paid retail) so they are not cheap. Contact off line if you are interested. I agree that +4" and 395s will be a good looking truck. Justin Wehring 979 997 3112

    8" lift and 395 (46") tires

Need to add I need to add that the wheels we make give the truck a wider stance that than HEMTT wheels or standard wheels. I am sure this helps with the stability. Justin Wehring 979 997 3112

    8" lift and 395 (46") tires

steering Steering is full hydro. I have some PSC kits for sale if you need one. The cross brace is installed. Look at the mounts and see the holes for the X brace. Just did not have it on when these were taken. Justin Wehring 979 997 3112

    8" lift and 395 (46") tires

yes but Yes it looks better but the driveability is lost with the 52s. The three tires lined up are 1600, 1400 and 395. I think that the 1400s (49) provide the best driveability /looks combo. The 52s are simply too big and heavy. Justin Wehring 979 997 3112

    8" lift and 395 (46") tires

Well everyone that has lifted the deuce has gone big with tires. Here are some pics of an 8" lift and 395/85R20 46" tires. The bobber match up shows the same size tires on each deuce. The deuce/5 ton match up also shows the same tire size on each truck. The deuce with the 8" lift is the...

How to - M916 5th wheel plate swap

Hey folks. I am swapping my 5th wheel plate on the M916 from the big pin (3" or 3.5" ?) to a standard 2" plate made by Holland. This is the same plate that Soni used on him M920 and others are considering. I have the original plate off and the new plate staged. I am having bushings machined...
