I have been educated to believe 2 cycle oil at a ratio of 1 ounce per gallon of fuel pumped into the tank is a great benefit to the plungers in the hydraulic head and the injector pop off plungers. I also have been boycotting Exxon/Mobil and patronizing Hess for at least 10 years. of course...
Is the 819 wheel base longer than the 816? I think it is 36" longer than the wrecker, If so, consider the weight increase on the front wheels and tires. I would go with 11x24.5s in 16 ply rating, you will gain height and plys. JT out
Napa gasket for OEM primary is #5131
Napa Gasket for the secondaries is #5070
There is no perfect primary available at any car parts place, military primary is different. The 3511 will work, turn the brass cup upside down and it will fairly well seal.... or find someone selling NSN...
Yeah, I'm pretty glad I bought the 915A1 with the Allison, It is unbelievable how much power it puts to the ground. Got the SF 97, now it can pull my lowboy, good night Freightliner. JT
J Waller, regardless of the details, thanks for the original post, I'm impressed. I have 2 818s and 1 915A1 and haven't used any of them for anything so far. But now I know what they can stand up to. JT out

Well, I guess you answered your own question but, I am just finishing a 4x4 M35 conversion using the trailer suspension and I got 2 1/2 x 18 1/4 ubolts made up at the local spring shop. They are on the truck, fit just right. I do use the helper springs as the trailer did. Mount the tabs on the...
You brought up a great point. My 915A1 is a pain to work on, would much rather have a tilt front, I have a friend with a 4300, I will measure it up and see if it's possible. Thank you for your foresite. I'm too old to care about what's correct, I can't climb up and into as good as I used to. JT out
Hey Papa Bear, I'll put a word in for you with Angie,, she and jack are friends of mine, and if you think I turned out to be all right at the Gathering 2010, you'll love Tank Lady and Jack, they are quality people. JT out
Mine did the same thing, I tested the glow plugs, 7 of 8 shot, number 8 bad, installed 8 new AC 13G glow plugs and it starts perfect. Tested all other components and connections, they are all good. glow plugs cost me $10.71 each at local NAPA store JT out
