    Air Box Modifications

The guy that did the computer tuning said this works best so I’ll probably stick with that but I’ll look into the housing. I know Donaldson makes good stuff

    Air Box Modifications

Because my intake has to be a large K&N. I don't want to look at it all the time (most people leave them out exposed) so I was going to route it into the existing airbox and leave the lid off so it can get more air. That little round cap looks restrictive.

    Air Box Modifications

I was thinking about just leaving the round lid off the end of the air box.

    Rivet Information

Where is the best place to get the Cherrymax rivets of different sizes? Most surplus people have little or none and aero companies are only wanting to deal with companies who have accounts.

PURCHASED HMMWV WITH NO MODEL YEAR ON DOCUMENTS - TEXAS

They sold me mine without a year or mileage. GP sent me a form to fill out and said getting the SF97 would be no problem. You have to guess which is not hard if you have a serial number. you can bracket where yours fit in based off of other ones for sale and also the threads on this forum.

    Camber/Alignment

I've done a 1.5" body lift and I need about 1 to 1.5 more inches with springs or spacers which I don't think it extreme. Lots of people run springs and spacers that get them 1 to 2 inches successfully. Even the unmodified vehicles have this camber issue. What happens when there's no more...

    Camber/Alignment

I'm pretty concerned about the positive camber problem for alignments. I want/need to lift mine about three inches. The tires I have are 800 each so I won't be driving around with it unless it's perfect. I find it hard to believe that taking one 1/8" thick shim out will bring it correct...

    Wiper Arm

There's a clip back there that has to be pushed sideways and then pry off the arm

Wanting to start a new HMMWV business. Need your help.

This is going to end at some point. There are already many businesses buying and restoring these vehicles and every day there's an auction we're one day closer to when they won't sell them anymore. Personally I wouldn't start a business that had such a limited future. Besides, a lot of them...

    Welding on the Humvee body.

I know how to do the weld process properly but i decided after more than a dozen beers at 3:30 in the morning I'd start trying to patch holes. Ruined the fender. I think on some of the larger ones I am going to try to glue or tack a plate on the inside and then fill the depression with...

    HMMWV Humvee M1123 Build Thread

So I looked for a set of corner scales to rent or borrow or buy but never could come up with any so I guess I’ll be springing this thing by guesswork and probably more than once. I started taking it apart last night. I got this light bar mount started. It’s really the last thing to...

    HMMWV Humvee M1123 Build Thread

I made it and just barely. It was a pain in the butt. Several templates made and lots of scrap. I rolled it first so there were no bend lines and the machine barely made it tight enough then several die changes to make that small lip which is still larger than OEM. You have to put a big...

    Rivet Information

Good to know. I'v e seen the solid rivets and those were the ones I was wondering about. I think I'll use the cherrys everywhere

    Rivet Information

I have the FSI D-100-MIL-1 Blind Rivet gun. Will that install those Cherry Max rivets?

Thank you! I'll look into that.

    Rivet Information

Does anyone know where to get the rivets used on the rear fenders that are domed with no holes in them? What kind of tool does that require? Thank you
