If you are not using as a daily driver call hagerty, my ins is $136/yr, here in tx we can get former military vehicle plates and inspection is not required, hopefully you can get something similar.
Yes it does! I put the noico sound deadener on the inside of the firewall, bottom of cowl, and the bottom of trans tunnel covers (I hope it stays put), just that made a HUGE difference in mechanical noise. Can't wait to see how it is with the hardtop.
Looking good!! You said it's a '53, does your hardtop have the brass data plate inside still? If so what year was it made? I have the plate that came out of mine, I'm not going to use it and it's dated 1952 if you want it?

I saw that mess and had to take turkey creed Rd over to the next road that came out at 2818 and the ATM equine complex. I was going into town so did not try 2818, is it open going back south (under 60)?
Have you tested to see if you are getting voltage to the back of the start button? If not I think it is supposed to get its power directly from the main on/off switch (check a diagram to be sure)
