yup
Slow down turbo... read my original post again.
I do not reccomend this! That is why I made the post. It is legal, safe and wise to pull some trailers in series. The M-105 is (in hind sight) not one of them.

:o)
It was 1600 miles total :o) and they are like no others I have seen. Besides being as-new they have extra braces in the bed and on the bed rail above the lifting eyes.

Repaired the tear in the top plate a while back. All of the arms and body have been blasted primed and repainted. Still looking for a hook and got a quote of $3K to repair/rebuild the rams. Putting cash away for this leg of the project.
Thaks for thinking about this and asking!
Justin
Why?
A fellow SS was to make this trip for me but bailed so I had to do it myself.
Never thought a thing about pulling two trailers in-line... NORMALLY, it is safe and legal. Darwin? Don't think so. There was no indicator that would have led me to believe that this was going to be drama...
I just got back from dragging 2 105s from AL to TX (800 miles). I put a pintle hook on the lead trailer and hooked them in-line.
I have done this with other style trailers about a dozen times... no problems. The first 30 miles of tis trip was a learning curve. The second trailer wanted to...
Decided to sell one of my CBC that I use in my bobbed deuce. Excellent condition, no repairs, no windows cut in it. As issued. Anyone interested? $3K

A great trick - SAFE TOO
Here is a freeby. Take a 20" bicycle innertube. Lube, lube, lube, lube it up and put it between the bead and rim. Put a few pounds of air in it so it swells and "seals" between the tire and wheel. Now air up the tire. Pull the tube out when the tire swells to seat...
Same drama
I am experiencing the exact same thing. Good temp, local driving, no big load. The hole on the side of the front driver's skirt has wet marks around it and the fender was wet.
I changed caps with another deuce and the same thing happened. I decided that it may have been...
Hey Joe
Hey Joe,
I just got the two CBCs to go with the one on my bobbed deuce. Joe, Please keep me in mind if you ever decide to sell yours. They make great command posts for hurricane/disaster relief trucks.
Justin
put the bed on
I put the bed on and there is 1/2"+ of clearance between the OPEN pintle hook and the bed. Closed I can put a fist in between the bed and top of the pintle.
This gives me full length bed support and allows me to fully open the tailgate.
