Commander what is the thingy sticking up from the bow channel on the trailer, did you find some stock that fit?

I think I only messed up one :) hit the shaft with some sandpaper before you put these on so you have a smooth even surface. I think 162Tcat hit the adapter on the head, no pun intended!!!!

Z: A couple of things while I am thinking about it:
1.) I Need to get new trailer chains that are the right length for both the M1009 and the F150, the mess I have now will not cut it...

Thank you recovry 4x4, and yes you can pull the M101A3 all day with your truck. Be safe in your loads and your setup and use common sense. Out of all my 3 trailers, M101, M105, M1101 by far the M101A2 is my most favorite trailer.

The actuator rides on a cam and moves the spool in and out. Look at the shaft and then the fluid lines and you will see what I mean.
