If and when you sell the truck the new owner may want to put the STE/ICE diagnostic port back. No need to cut it off.
Most members do not have a STE/ICE diagnostic unit but a few of us do. There a many members that want their trucks stock. And the STE/ICE post is a stock item.
Just a reminder for everyone, usually we do not allow any discussion of current or future auction items. The originaL post and many others have been edited or deleted and while it is still against the rules the staff has decided that this one time we will allow this thread to stay.

Please review the stickies (and the forum rules) in the HMMWV section about titling of the newly released HMMWVs. The trucks are being released by the DLA (military) with the "off-road use only" restriction...
If you are just using a single item on the 12v tap, you will be fine.

Talking about titles for the newly released HMMWVs for "off road", like the DLA restrictions state, is okay. If the discussion turns to "on road" for the newly released HMMWVs then that is when the ban hammer is used.
With today's manufacturing some starters are not even lasting a week.
Before starting ANY electrical troubleshooting always make sure your batteries are fully charged and load tested. Without knowing the battery condition you are just guessing. I have had batteries die overnight.

I seen many tires blow out due to age. I had a spare blow out a couple of weeks ago. Tire was in like new condition bit was older. The...
