    M35A3 tire changing to 395/85/20 part 1

Rears will have only 2" between them (so chains will hit) and front, I believe, will hit steering arm with A3 wheels. There may be a different wheel that could work to put the front further out (less back space).

    bulbs

Here is an end projection 1156 style (24v) that is about the highest lumens for one with 90* that I have seen. They are even on sale...

    bulbs

I have a different housing that is mostly side view and use the LED equal. There are other bulbs that work better for looking at the top of the bulb, like in most military housings. Maybe someone can add them. You have them backward, the 1156 is single contact and the 1157 or 2057 is dual...

Wanting to mount these on m105

Should work if you have the same dia bolt circle (appears 13.29") and you use bolts that are tight in the hole. Of course the adapters need the stud centered bolt holes for your 6 lugs with the chamfer. You may have to take the valve off and plug the hole or take a piece out of the adapter...

Looking for ideas for custom DIY grills for M1078

Flattened expanded metal maybe. Sorry, not 1078.

    Looking for opinions

Might try flat black. One door only in my opinion.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Cool....keep us informed. Looking forward to details. I want to do that on the rear of my 4x4 and if I hit the Lotto, front too.

    Mildew advice?

Put a heavy tarp over it that will keep the water out. Set up a fan to dry it out. If you don't keep the water out, you are fighting a losing battle.

    M818 Wiring Question

I would like to find a source for the wire too (maybe here on SS). I'm going to have to rewire the back of my 4x4 project. I would like a roll of the black single wire. It's about 10-12 gauge and has a tough rubber jacket. Good luck. Otherwise I may have to use machine tool wire and put...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

I like the FS 383 green. I'm painting parts of my house with it because it matches the sand color so nicely....a novel idea for house paint

Post 62 has the basic electrical layout and there are others in the thread. Here is one of mine.

Brake problem - frozen anchor pins

I have some of the wheel cylinders but they have the wrong pistons in them. Do you already have your cylinders? I would like the pistons from your old ones if they are salvageable. I'm not going to use them for my truck, I'm going to 1 1/2" but I would have complete cylinders if I locate the...

    Bobbed 939 factory length

If you use Google and put in M923 (or 925) 4x4 and go to images, you will see quite a few that are full length. Seems lots of the guys make quad cabs but there are a few pics of shorter beds too. Good luck with the 6 week thing....I couldn't do it.

    M105 Stakes for M101A2?

I'm putting this m105 bed on my deuce 4x4. I put wood inside them to strengthen them. I wish steeel tube was available the right size...it's not. First picture is beginning with wood and then what I did. An 1 1/2" tube that is 1/8" thick slides down inside (on the second picture). I'm...

    Bobbed 939 factory length

That would be a very long vehicle and to me, the proportions would not look right, although removing an axle has to make it more maneuverable and get a bit better fuel economy. I'm doing similar to my M35A3 deuce...not shortening the frame and making it into 4x4. I positioned the M105 bed from...

    Mo' Power for an M923A2

Would that be like a Spicer from an 809 series and a T1138 transfer case? That would be a nice combo for a 4x4 818. Is there a TC that is not prone to self destruction while backing in low?

    Rear Suspension

Jeff, are you building a double axle 4 link w/air, 5 ton? I have the bones off my deuce axle (still attached to the trunion, I cut the axle bolts) from the M35A3 4x4 and notice the bottom axle end can simply be turned up.... making all four axle connections from OEM parts AND keeping the same...
