That is the drain tube that comes from the back of the valley of the engine. All it is is a tube. Nothing else. I have only seem them on the newer GEP 6.5L engines.
98G is through OKC often. He may be able to get them to Arizonia.
As a matter of fact he will be passing though in the next couple of days.

Maybe you can use the soda wash electrolysis method. Remove the unit, build a trough and soak the davit for a day or so.

Found a couple of pictures of this 809 series but I have never seen one with a pole-setter on the back. The wheel cut outs on the bed don't look right. Maybe it is just an optical illusion.

The original 100+ where all hauled to Camp Gruber in Oklahoma. As far as w know they are just sitting there waiting to be used for target practice.
However they are not seen on Google Earth anymore.
