I am looking at a m108 that will be restored and upgraded to a Multifuel. I am trying to find a price of what they are worth to see how much I should be spending on a truck like this. Does anyone have something like this and how much is it worth? Drive train will not be new but a pull out from...
If you are wanting to put duals on it you will need to flip the hubs back to stock posistion. I would recommend switching your truck to super singles. If you switch to super singles you won't have to flip the hubs. You will just dish the the stock wheels in (opposite of my truck pictured...
Ok I checked my shop, and dont have enough sheet metal laying around to make a sign and I don't have a coffee can either. It would be sort of cool to use an ammo can for the donations to go in.
Texted Dennis and he said he will be there. Rich, Powell, and I are going to bring
Firewood
1-75 ft extension cord (will try and scrounge up a few more)
Will try and bring extra lights
2- Generators
Also here in about 30 minutes when my shop class starts I will see if I have enough material...
Yeah, thats how I did mine. I read alot of posts that say they wouldn't. I have had mine on for about a ten months now with no issue. A few people I know also have used the stock wheels and they work great for them too. I have quite a few tires for sale such as 11.00's, 395's, 14.00's, and...
The transfer case was $950 which is with the cost of shipping and the airline kit was $130. My thought was that was half the price when we put one in my friends duramax so really not that bad.
About a month ago my brother and I upgraded our truck from a sprag to an airshift. We purchased it off of ebay, and it was a government rebuild in the crate (rebuild date July/2009). I didn't want to put in a pull out and have it fail a couple months down the road, so I felt better buying a...
Even with the rears dished out they track the same in the front as they do in the rear on my M923. Lol, not many roads at all out here or really much of anything for that matter. There are only two paved roads and only 400 or so people.
I have a nice set of Michelin XL's in the classifieds that are in really good shape. I originally wanted a set to put on my duece but couldn't find a set, so I singled it out on 395's. Then a while later I got this set of 11 Michelin XL's. I would definately go with the michelins over the...
I put 395's on my M923 and my M35A2. I would definately not change either truck back to duals. You don't need to flip the hubs, just dish out the rear wheels an they will track the same as the fronts. I used Goodyear MVT's on FMTV wheels and they are great. I am about to switch out the 395's...
Sounds good, I will shoot Dennis a text and see if he will be there too. We will meet you at Elephant Butte Inn. We are going to head up Friday and I think camp over on rattle snake island if anyone else wants to come hang out before hand.
I think he is talking about the split rims that come on the trucks when running duals. I don't have an answer about if its ok to run them that way on a five ton. I did use my stock wheels which are split rims when I put super singles on my deuce and they work just fine. I have had stories...
