You didn't answer the question - what did the bottom of the pan look like? What was the condition of the fluid?
Shotgunning questions without details likely won't get you the best of answers.....
A quick search of "seats" found several threads regarding this topic:

And just like they tried to tell you in the other thread, you can't overfill the transfer case, so they were pointing out that you had an issue from the outset. Bad seals will cause the leak but it sure as **** doesn't explain the excess fluid.
He's about to be out of the country - if he can't watch the truck, he sure as heck can't watch a dog.
On another note, I see you live about 5 minutes down the road from me.
Not a bad shield for a gunner protection kit. How much does it weigh?
There's a guy in your neck of the woods doing repro gpk armor - I think he makes them for $1200 oit of aluminum or steel.
There's a sticky at the top of the forum under "LEO/FD Checklist......". It's an old thread that is continually updated, hence the title - but it has the info you seek.
You won't see rank on a vehicle like that - occasionally on the windshield. It could be small unit level markings - we did it in the Marines (not like that though) to instantly tell who was who, etc.
I've got a resin one that I've had about a year now. Those who know about actual NFA stuff know is not real, but you'd be amazed how many I've had ask if it's real or not standing right next to the truck. For $300, it does the job quite well.
Of course, there are others - Show of Force, etc -...
Apart from wanting a vehicle that I had when I was in the military, that's the reason I got mine - making memories. My son is the same age as your son and he helps me turn wrenches from time to time and absolutely loves going for rides.
I replaced the throttle position sensor for the 4L80 today - I tested the unit that was in it earlier and it wouldn't produce the needed voltage, even at the max setting. So I replaced it and had the correct voltage and then some. I drove it around earlier - no issues and great shifting. I don't...
My 4L80 in my non-turbo 6.5 is giving me fits in trying to get things to operate normally - I was hoping you guys might be able to assist with a couple of questions.
A little background on what's going on.
The truck seems to operate/shift fine. When I drive it around a bit, it shifts alright...
