Feasibility of Solar Panel augmentation with existing MEP backup/additive power or just add larger genset?

I also have a non-grid tied system but I am not off grid. When I say non-grid tied I mean that I don't sell power back to the utility. I can however use the utility to charge my batteries. I have 9.7 KW of solar panels with another 9.7KW going up this week. I have 30 KWH of lifepo4 server...

    MEP 802 and 803 gauges

This may already be common knowledge but I think Phaostron may be the original manufacturer of the V, Hz, and percent rated current gauges in these machines. Can anyone confirm? http://phaostron.com/meters.html

    Mep-803a performance - power outage.

Kurt, how would you say the 1030 compares to the 802a in terms of noise?

Replacement temperature gage for MEP-802 and MEP-803 sets.

I posted this about a year ago. The Datcon part numbers below have worked very well for me so far. As far as I'm concerned there's only 2 types of Beede gauges. Broken and about to be broken. I have used all 3 of the following Datcon gauges. All have worked perfectly for me with the senders...

    Mep-803a performance - power outage.

Never lost it here in southern NH. How much fuel do you guys keep on hand and how do you store it? I have a 55gal drum that I rotate through the furnace every 2-3 years. When stored I treat with biocide and Optilube XPD

    Mep831a conversion time!!

Congrats on the inbound kid. Dodge called them "club cabs" back in the day.

    Mep 802a start up

Using the throttle/Hz adjust knob to fine tune the Hz for varying loads is ok. That's why its there. Where you can get in trouble is if you use it to idle the engine down for some reason.

    I guess it's a LPW2, not a DN2M...

So I just went out to check. My 8/11 build date un-fielded unit with 28 hours (which I got from LITD with 7 hrs) indeed has Lister Petter marked valve covers. My 7/09 build date with 702 hours (which I also got from LITD) has Onan marked valve covers.

Same here. Although I never took a look at the valve covers.

    Thoughts on WAGO connectors

I've been checking out WAGO connectors and have been wondering if any of you have an opinion good or bad, or if anyone has used them with a good or bad result. They've been out for quite a while but I've just stuck with wire nuts. There's plenty of stuff in forums and on youtube, both good and...

    MEP-802/3 Radiators

I too would like to have a spare radiator and have been keeping an eye out for one but as of yet nothing has turned up. $600-$900 is too much for me.

    Mep802a won't shut off!

I have used all 3 of the following Datcon gauges. All have worked perfectly for me with the senders that came on my 802a. I bought a second of each for when the Beede gauges fail on my NOS 802a. There are also 24v light kits available from the same vendor. Fuel - 101584 OP - 101574 Temp -...
