This may already be common knowledge but I think Phaostron may be the original manufacturer of the V, Hz, and percent rated current gauges in these machines. Can anyone confirm?

I posted this about a year ago. The Datcon part numbers below have worked very well for me so far. As far as I'm concerned there's only 2 types of Beede gauges. Broken and about to be broken.

Using the throttle/Hz adjust knob to fine tune the Hz for varying loads is ok. That's why its there. Where you can get in trouble is if you use it to idle the engine down for some reason.
So I just went out to check. My 8/11 build date un-fielded unit with 28 hours (which I got from LITD with 7 hrs) indeed has Lister Petter marked valve covers.
My 7/09 build date with 702 hours (which I also got from LITD) has Onan marked valve covers.

I have used all 3 of the following Datcon gauges. All have worked perfectly for me with the senders that came on my 802a. I bought a second of each for when the Beede gauges fail on my NOS 802a. There are also 24v light kits available from the same vendor.
