I have a similar OCD. I bought a second 802a from LITD as a backup thinking it was cheaper than buying a bunch of spare parts. Although it was in very good condition, I had to make everything as perfect as possible. After all that, I have still been stocking up on spare parts.
Makes sense. So if the person whose generators were lost accepts the shippers scrap price offer, then the shipper can head on over to the LAF trailer and do whatever he wants with the generators? You'd think they'd check the LAF trailers along the route for the guys missing stuff before they...
Yep, sadly we've somehow gotten to the point where criminals are "victims" and are not to be prosecuted. Those that they steal from are somehow the cause of all the worlds "problems".
Hopefully your 2 units will be found as LITD's 803 was.
Has anybody ever used a soft start on a 3/4 hp single phase 240v well pump? I have recently installed a 48v /4400w Magnum inverter backed up by 600ah of LiFePo4 batteries. The system works great powering critical loads in my house. Next step is solar panels.
The issue I am trying to solve...
Thanks Kurt. The 2-wire standby mode simplifies things because there is no "run" sense signal required between the Gen and the controller. The inverter senses the incoming AC voltage from the gen and communicates that to the controller. The controller accepts this as its "run" sensed...
Kurt,
Quick question. Does your 2 wire auto-start work with a start command derived from a constant on signal from an on/off switch or relay (closed circuit = on / open circuit = off) or is it a momentary closed circuit to command a start and then another momentary closed circuit to command a...
Found one!! Great price too. Got the 4448PAE, the interconnect panel, remote, BMK, and auto gen start module. Only things still on back order are the PT100 charge controller for solar and the back panel that the inverter and interconnect mount to. Very happy with the price. About 50 bucks...
I'm glad I got in when I did, thanks to LITD. Gotta keep adding to the spare parts stash. I think some of the electronic components that KloppK produces are a wise investment. They're better than OE and without them you're sunk.
Thank you NATCAD. Where do you see that they're in stock? I see a bunch of retailers/wholesalers in the where to buy section of their website but nothing that confirms that they have them in stock. Their whole set up seems a bit procey too.
Yes Sir they have. Biden Bucks!!! They are on back order everywhere. Some distributors have said they have had orders in since November. Haven't yet been able to find out if the shortage is due to demand exceeding production capacity or component supply chain issues slowing/stopping...
Pretty set on the magnum for a few reasons. Split phase input and output, reliability reputation, simplicity of system setup and wiring with the MMP, and ME-ARC configuration with no reliance on bluetooth devices etc.
The MS4448PAE is evidently unobtanium these days. I've tried calling every number on the Sensata Technologies website and not one actual human yet. Still waiting.
I've also called a bunch of solar companies and every damn one of them tries to push you into a grid tied federally subsidized...
