How important are MIL-SPEC gauges to you?

For engine gauges I would prefer original equipment but the Beede gauges seem to be crap so I gave up on OEM and replaced all 3 with direct fit Datcon gauges . (24v and match existing sending unit output range) For the generator gauges I would still want to keep it original. They are hard to...

    Spare parts question

A while back Guyfang provided me with a list of spare parts for an 802a that would be good to have on hand. One item was listed as "diodes for the main gen". I can't seem to find them in the -24P, at least to the point that I'm sure of what he is referencing. Guyfang, could you please be more...

    MEP 501A Fix-up Thread

Seems like all the MEP gauges are tough to source. Engine side and gen side. Engine side is easier to find a suitable and even better replacement but I've yet to find a source for any of the gen side gauges.

Looks like I'll have to add a couple of these to the stash. Thanks all for your feedback.

TQG MPU failure - How common?

If you've gotten sets with the MPU missing that suggests that a replacement was needed somewhere and your set was the donor.

TQG MPU failure - How common?

So as I continue to stock up on spare parts for my 2 802a generators, I've gotten to the MPU on my target list. Realistically, how common is it for these to fail? Thanks all

Does this clamp directly to the exhaust on the mep or did you need to put on some type of adapter? Thanks

    Stall mat question

Thanks guys. The TS near me has the 3/4 which is where I was leaning. We were close last time LITD. Maybe next time.

    Stall mat question

Does it reduce vibration in the set or just reduce the vibration from the set that is transferred to the floor?

    Stall mat question

For those of you that use or have used stall mats to reduce vibration, what thickness did you buy? I am able to source either 1/2 or 3/4 inch. Thanks, -Craig
